I recently visited the newly opened Shake Shack at Mercato in Naples. Overall, the food itself was decent, but the experience had several issues that I hope management can address, especially since this location is brand new.
The burger itself was good in flavor, although it had noticeable oil residue on the outside and the bun was barely warm. I also tried the mango boba drink, but it was extremely sweet, almost overpowering.
My biggest concern was the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. The bathrooms were in surprisingly poor condition considering the location just opened. One of the restroom doors did not lock, and the overall condition did not feel well maintained. The trash near the dining area was full, and there were no napkins available at the front counter.
The wait time for the order was also longer than expected for what is supposed to be a fast-food style restaurant.
To be fair, the employees I interacted with were polite and kind, which I appreciated. However, it seems like the location might need better operational oversight, clearer procedures, or stronger management to keep things running smoothly.
I’m open to giving this location another chance in the future. If improvements are made, I would be happy to update this review to reflect a better experience.

A friend and I went a couple days ago when they had just recently opened and we did wait a while both in line outside and once inside for our food. It was understandable since it was very busy. The wait was so worth it. The food tasted amazing and looked great too. Staff there were very nice. Although one of my drinks was wrong, I’d say the taste of the food made up for it. Definitely coming back

The food was amazing – had the double patty smoke shack burger and the chocolate pudding shake! I really need to go back and try the wings. So excited to have this as an option in Naples! The staff was so friendly and nice, the place was very clean, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience! I will be back!

As a Naples foodie, this place was great for an opening day. The manager from corporate was helping people order at the kiosks and she also was handing out menus to people in like. The Korean style burger with bacon was amazing. We also got the fries with the Korean seasoning was amazing. The place was packed but the team did a great job getting everyone there order correctly. Great experience for such a hectic day. The burger was much better than I remembered. The last time I had shake shack was in 2022 at Penn Station in NYC. I will be back!

Crowded, as expected for an opening day. However, the team did their best and were great in fulfilling each order. The quality control amongst each meal was apparent as seen with the smash burgers, fries & drinks. The K-Shack BBQ burger & were excellent. Pomegranate lemonade & shake were great as well.

The food here was pretty delicious, and the staff was ready to help as soon as we walked in. We ordered with the self serve kiosk but you can order at the counter too. The fries were mediocre, the shake was good but the burger was what stood out. I’d come back here or try another location anytime. Its a higher price point for fast food, but higher quality too.

The food was somewhat ok, burgers were great, any other sides (fries/onion rings) were tasteless and felt like the were cooked from a frozen bag. The chocolate shake was good but the worst thing was the service.. the employees that are face to face with the customers hate to be there, miserable and really rude. It sucks that a place with burgers this good will go under due to employees.
