Just had the best dining experience at Shake Shack! From the quick service to the spotless cleanliness, this place truly impressed me. The indoor and outdoor seating was comfy and the ambiance was on point with the perfect background music. Overall, exceeded all expectations for a fast-casual spot. Will definitely be back soon! Thanks for a great time, Shake Shack! #satisfiedcustomer #fastcasualdining #cleanlinessiskey #ambianceonpoint #ShakeShackRocks

I placed a takeout order. I waited a short time, and when I received my order, instead of two glasses of Coca-Cola, I only received one. This was quickly corrected, but the main surprise awaited me at home. At home, I took out the burger and saw this. At first, it looked like someone had taken a bite out of the top bun. The photo doesn’t fully convey how it looked. The second burger was pretty much the same. I want to add that the filling was excellent, but the bitten buns weren’t even put on the grill or heated. In the end, I ate something that was completely unappetizing.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the service was fast, and the restaurant was spotless.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the price. The burgers were not very tasty for what they charge, especially the mushroom burger, which tasted stale and disappointing. Overall, the burgers were not mind-blowing at all — honestly, burgers from In-N-Out or even other fast-food places tasted better and the price is very reasonable.

The pricing was also a letdown. There’s no real combo deal, so you have to pay extra for fries and drinks. A single small burger costing around $12.50 to $16 without fries and for the way it tastes feels overpriced. The sauce served on the side was nothing special, and the crinkle-cut fries tasted like regular frozen fries — nothing impressive.
I won’t be back ever unless the price and taste is fixed.

That said, the staff’s friendliness and the restaurant’s cleanliness were excellent.

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was great! The double Shack Burger tasted amazing; it would have been perfect with onions. The cheese bacon fries were also phenomenal, however were on the pricier side relative to the rest of the meal. The highlights of the meal were definitely the Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade with mango popping boba and the Tiramisu Shake!

The service was definitely the best part! I had brought my golden retriever, Rex, and the waitress gave him a dog-dedicated bowl of water after a walk and a treat just for him! If you are reading this review, thank you for your service and wish I got your name while I was there! You made it 5 stars. I adored the dog accommodation for this particular shack. I would come back again.

Stopped by the Shake Shack in Long Beach recently, and honestly, I have mixed feelings. The spot itself is really nice — clean, modern, and in a great area. The vibe was chill and the staff were super friendly, so no complaints about the service.
The downside? The burger size. It used to be way bigger, but now it feels tiny compared to what it used to be, and the prices have definitely gone up. The flavor was still great, but it’s hard to justify the cost when the portions shrink like that.
Overall, it’s a nice place to hang out and grab a bite, but just be ready to pay a bit more for a smaller meal than you might expect.

First and last time ever at a Shake Shack. Their Smokey BBQ Double (advertised as 8oz) cheeseburger was fine, I would call it an upgrade in taste over Carl’s Jr but a huge downgrade in size and filling. In size it is very close to a standard Double Double (4oz) at In&Out w/ a little more meat, seems to be equal or less than a 3×2 (6oz).

I don’t know if this location was simply cheating using 3oz instead of 4oz for their hand pressed patties or using 40% fat beef but the cooked down weight seemed to be only slightly over 4oz. Significantly smaller than a single 1/3 lb patty at Denny’s.

The Chocolate Malt was unevenly mixed, at first actually tasting bitter and even a couple clumps of still dry powder throughout. No comparison to any hand scooped ice cream parlor I’ve been to or to Braums in Texas / Oklahoma. Charging 49¢ extra for Malt powder or Whip Cream should also be criminal.

The biggest insult was the price – Over $20 + tax for a small mediocre burger and small shake, don’t even get me started on their $9.49 chicken sandwich, smaller and lower quality to Popeye’s at $6.

Much better off to go to a sit down restaurant, better food / better service / lower prices (incl. tip)

Double Smoky Classic BBQ Burger was quite large and messy-Very very good
Excellent Fried Pickles- done similar to style of chicken fried- the breading was nicely seasoned with pepper, slightly craggy, and crunchy. Juicy pickle inside.

We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Service was fast and friendly. I had the Shroom burger, it was delicious. The portobello mushroom was filled with muenster cheese, it was so good. My family member had the Shack burger. We also tried the BBQ fries and the chocolate salted caramel shake. Everything was amazing.

The food is excellent, but for the price, its more like dine-in fast food. Chicken avo bacon sandwhich, double patty avo bacon burger, oreo funnel shake was $35 after tax w/o fries. I really wish the fries were included on the side. Also, the service is almost non-existent. When you walk in, its hit or miss if an employee is at the counter to take your order. Instructions should be more clear for a first timer who’s navigating the self-service option.

Perusing all the shake offerings, I thought I’d get into the current fad & order the Limited Time Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake. Asking the manager about it, he said they ran out of the ingredients, but more is currently unloading from the supply truck, parked outside on PCH. I was told the wait would be around 30 minutes, and decided to stay for my first foray into the Dubai Chocolate craze.

Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake-
Frozen pistachio custard, blended with toasted kataifi, coated in a crackable dark chocolate shell, topped with chopped pistachios & shredded kataifi. Good? Yes. Good enough to wait 30+ minutes for? No. And, I would say that for the overall Dubai Chocolate phenomena. Most Middle Eastern restaurants serve knafeh, with some offering Nutella-topped knafeh. That is a cheaper, and much better, original version of Dubai Chocolate. Shake Shack’s version was cool & refreshing, however. The toasted kataifi gave the drink the crunch of Frosted Mini-Wheats. The chocolate shell was akin to Magic Shell chocolate syrup. Pistachios are pretty pricey, so having a generous amount of chopped pistachios was a plus. Great on a hot day, I was satisfied with my Dubai Chocolate Pistachio shake.

Service was excellent. The manager was friendly and didn’t have to fill me in on the restocking of supplies from the truck. He made sure to create my shake, despite not having to make it a priority. Plenty of seating inside & out, Shake Shack is located across Fire Wings at 2nd & PCH.

My initial visit to a Shake Shack was at a Los Angeles branch, and I left underwhelmed with their burger. Their shakes, however, are highly recommended, and the personal service I received from the manager made me an appreciative customer of the 2nd & PCH eatery. I hope to come back soon.
