This was my first time at the shake shake and I was not impressed. The burgers were very, very greasy. It was so greasy it made it feel sick. The fries were decent and the milk shake was average. I was shocked at the prices but thought hey maybe its worth it and this food will be the best I had yet. But sadly no it wasnt and I dont think id ever go back. Over 40 dollars for 2 burger meals and one milk shake I was so disappointed. Also the lady at the window was not patient and made me feel rushed.

While expensive, I’d heard a lot about Shake Shack and thought I’d give it a try today, 1/15/25, in Lancaster, PA. Very disappointed! The shake was good but lumpy, like some portion of an earlier shake was still in the machine. The burger was a very well prepared poor piece of meat…good flavor but an inferior burger. I am shocked to read that they claim it to be Angus beef. If it is, I don’t know what they did to it to get all those ‘chunks’ in it! Really unsatisfying after maybe two bites. And this was just a bit annoying….a young lady delivered my food tray to my numbered table with no napkins. I asked where the napkins were and she pointed to a bar on the other side of the dining room. If you’re delivering the food to a table, and they don’t keep napkins on the tables, why wouldn’t you put a few on the customer’s tray? A manager-type came around as I was finishing and asked how my meal was. I was nice but honest. He came back as I was leaving with a $5 off coupon for my next visit. I doubt I’ll be using that.

Best fast food burger on the market. The bacon cheeseburger is such a need and the Martins potato rolls complete this burger. They were cooked to perfection and worth every dollar. Super easy to order kiosks located inside to make for an easy transaction. They also have really good milkshakes in here as well. Always a treat going to this franchise and have yet to be disappointed

First time trying a Shake Shack. Overall I’m impressed, but probably won’t come back very often; I would call Shake Shack a “pro-sumer” burger joint, with high quality food and even higher prices. 4 items ran $30 after tax and tip. The atmosphere/vibe is, “I’m a strong, young entrepreneur who don’t need no borgar. But I afford borgar.”
The burger was excellent. Thin, loose, and crispy patties, almost a smash burger but not quite. Well seasoned, and toasted bun. My only complaint is that serving it in a wax sleeve caused the bun to steam unevenly; the side facing out was dry and toasty–which is fine–and the side facing in was moist and toasty–which is also fine, but I’d rather it be one or the other, not both.
The hotdog was excellent. Toasted buns, split and grilled meat…what? That was great. The hotdog had some actual texture that you can chew on for a minute, and isn’t just super soft and juicy like e.g. Nathan’s. I will come back to Shake Shack for the hotdogs. Better than most hotdog joints.
The French fries are crinkle-cut, but in an unusual way that seems to give them even more surface area than normal crinkle-cut fries. The result is an interesting texture where there is variation in the crunchiness and softness not only in the cross section of the fries, but also along its length. It alternates crispy and soft. The parmesan seemed to serve as the main/only source of salt on the fries, which was fine. It was very nice; I enjoyed it.
The cookies & cream shake was nice. I don’t have a lot to say about it. Tasted like what I expected it to taste like.
I’m disappointed that ordering via the app to pickup via drive-thru or curbside is not supported. You have to go inside if you order via the app. That’s going to make me look elsewhere for food 90+% of the time.
The app appears to show you a live status of how your order is progressing, e.g. received, making, done, but it never updated.
In the app, I checked the box for napkins, silverware, etc, but none were included. I had to go back into to the store to get it.

I have been at this location of ShakeShack 10 minutes ago i tried new food menu items i got Banan pudding milkshake Carolina BBQ sandwich with no bqq and add fried onions, blt with a avocado,food was great overall. I loved the interior they even had type of board game. The employee who took my order was a nice and great one

The burgers were pretty raw ended up throwing the order out fo uber eats. The store refuses to pick up the phone. They are not responding after cooking the burgers bad. The cheese fries didn’t have any cheese either, pure disappointment and no refund for raw food. Zero customer service resolved

First time visitors! We enjoyed the burgers and fries. My favorite part of the meal though was the milkshake. It was amazing! We did have to wait for a table to open up as it was super busy when we went. The table was dirty and no one came over to clean/wipe it off. Very pricey and the servings were quite small tor the price. Overall, our experience was good but not sure we’ll go back again for anything other than the milkshakes.
