Great setting and nice environment, but, what I find, is some of their employees are racist and do not give a damn. Yesterday was my second incident with this. I already contacted Shake Shack about the man who was indifferent, unfocused… maybe he had a ‘blunt’ before coming in? But Emily came out and showed grace in great style. She was great on that other visit. But now this time it was Monica. I had asked Monica if I could talk to and thank Emily for her prior service. Monica ignored me. OK, no problem. Then… then, when I was done with my Chicken Shack, marveling to myself as to how good it was, Monica comes out to the dining area, where there are five tables, with one of them being mine. She walked briskly by my table, and not only greets the other four (and takes their trash), but has conversations with all of them. Then… she walks by me and my bag of trash and not so much even looks in my direction. Then I noticed something… they all appeared, to one extent or another, Western Latin. She is too. Coincidence? Nah, right? I am Roman and Romanian myself, though I am mostly England from London. I am 60 now, and I really don’t care if someone likes me or not. But the thing is, is that racism has no place in the hospitality business. I was in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and passive aggressive racism is to be NEVER tolerated. You treat everyone equally, and I don’t care what individual discriminatory views are. ‘Shakey Shakey’, take note.
We got to sit on the terrace and someone came to confirm if we liked everything and if we needed anything. Amazing!
The fries were perfect. The burgers were great. About 15$ for a trio.
What really stood out to me this time was the service — it was phenomenal! The staff here is friendly, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. This location is also very clean and well-kept, which makes the dining experience even better.
Honestly, this is the best service I’ve ever had at any of their locations. It makes a huge difference and is the reason we’ll definitely keep coming back. Keep up the amazing work!
Personally I really wasn’t impressed at all.
You place your order via a kiosk then sit and wait to be called.
When I was looking for a table to sit at they were all dirty, either had trash or crumbs on them. While looking around I saw santiwipes, so I assume you have to clean the tables yourself. For a $30 lunch, I expect at least a clean table.
I ordered the white truffle burger with bacon, side of fries, large lemonade and a six piece chicken nugget, plus they added a 10% tip, not sure who or what I was tipping for. I didn’t like that. My total was $30 The burger was really thin and dry, I prefer mine thick and juicy. The fries were ok, just plain crinkled fries with Parmesan or something sprinkled on them. The lemonade was good. I got the nuggets for my service dog to have as a treat when we got back to the car. I tasted 1/2 one at the table. It was ok, better than the burger.
This place just isn’t my cup of tea and won’t be returning. Very disappointing.
Not being familiar with the area, the parking sucked! Street parking I paid $2.00 for 1 hour.
Just putting prices so y’all have a heads up if you go.
