Burgers here are always good. Seasoned fries. Connie greated me and also made sure I got anything I needed she is so nice and works hard! Place was spotless and food was hot and cooked to perfection.

I visited Shake Shack in Brea. loved it! The food was fresh, and their cheese fries were amazing — perfectly crispy and flavorful. The place was clean with a nice, welcoming environment, making it a great spot to enjoy a quick meal. Definitely one of the best Shake Shack locations I’ve been to! Highly recommend!

Most of the items I tried were limited-time items, so I don’t know how my review will reflect Shake Shack as a whole, but I really enjoyed the items I had. This was also like my second time ever having Shake Shack. I really liked the Black Truffle burger. The truffle worked really well with the cheese and the crispy sweet onion. I noticed that the patties on both the Black Truffle and normal cheeseburger are relatively thin though. They’re almost like smash burgers. I’d recommend getting two patties if you’re actually hungry. I also really liked the Thai iced tea shake. It wasn’t too sweet and was very yummy. The truffle Parmesan fries were good too – mostly due to the black truffle sauce on the side. I used that black truffle sauce on everything haha the burgers too. I really wish these were permanent menu items. To be honest, if these items did not exist, this would probably be a 4 star review. I thought that the normal burger was good. And the chicken burger was moist, but kinda bland. Not enough sauce or seasoning I think. Without the limited edition stuff, I would probably say that Shake Shack is good but expensive. I feel like I’d be paying the higher price if the product backed up the price tag. The “luxury” black truffle stuff and the Thai tea justified the higher price point for me, but I don’t know if the regular menu items can hold that same weight. The service was good – I liked that they delivered the items to your table. It definitely made the experience feel a little more upscale. The inside also just feels cleaner and more posh than your typical fast food restaurant… you can kinda just feel like you’re in a nicer neighborhood. But I don’t see myself coming back when the limited time items go away.

Price aside, these are the best burgers from any chain hands down. They are small but pack so much flavor and have great variety. The shakes are also made of custard with gives them a signature taste that is beyond anything else in the fast food industry. Also, anyone who places this establishment in the $10-20 category is misleading. A meal with a decently sized Burger, Fries, and Shake is +$20 with tax.
As of 1/26/25
Truffle Burger: $11.49
Mushroom Burger: $9.99
Shakes: $6.99

Easy kiosk ordering. Food delivered in minutes. Clean tables and not too crowded for dinner service. Only issue was the restroom needs to be tidied up. Restroom paper trash overflowing the bins and water splashes all over the place and not in the sink. I liked the lettuce wrap burger options since I’m reducing carb intake.

Disappointed. I was actually excited when I seen it had opened. I really like Shake Shack but this one has chewy meat that is hard to swallow. It did not taste like the usual Shake Shack cheeseburger. The establishment was clean and had plenty of seating.

I tried calling the restaurant beforehand because I had a question about an order I was trying to place online, but it went to voicemail? What’s the point of having a phone number listed if no one is going to answer. I ended up driving to the restaurant and looked like they were fully staffed. Anyway, this was my first time there and felt that prices were good with the exception of the french fries. Overpriced for the size taking into consideration that you buy packages of french fries in bulk so your cost is low. Was surprised that they don’t offer another cheese choice besides American. Eek. I might still stop by again in future.

We decided to try this out because it had just opened up and we’d heard the hype around it. What a mistake. Mediocre food, and employees that acted like we were imposing on them for daring to order an hour before they closed.
The Fries, cold. The Bacon and Cheese Fries, globs of barely warm cheese on cold fries. The “Grilled Cheese” lukewarm microwaved cheese on an upside down bun. The Shake, actually decent-except for that 40¢ whipped cream charge. Way to nickel and dime for something that costs you less than a nickel per customer.
In fact lets talk about costs. The Sandwiches, 12 dollars. The Fries, 5. The Bacon and Cheese Fries, 8. The Shake, 7.69+40¢. Over 30 dollars for something worth maybe Five Bucks at most.
Terrible food, bad experience, overpriced. Do not go here, just go down the street and get a combo from McDonald’s, at least their fries are warm.

Over rated under sized and way over priced. Included are pictures of my drink, the size of the fries and my receipt.
To be honest if I’d known the prices, and portion sizes, I would not have gotten the food I got. I just spent two meals worth of money on one small meal that was good not great. The double Shackburger while good doesn’t “Pop”, the first bite should always grab your attention and is way too small, I paid 10.49 ( halfway decent due to the minimum wage, but very skinny) beef okay quality.
The price $ 6.99 The Bacon cheese fries while good didn’t come as I ordered with bacon and what I paid for. I had to ask for bacon, they didn’t offer to replace the order, they just gave me a side of bacon. The drink looks like a small anywhere else, that was $4.49. Drink is too small and cost way too much. I think I can live without shake shack. I was ignored when I went up to see about my fries, there were workers talking and not working on the floor in the kitchen. Service is okay.
I didn’t have any shakes if you like them keep getting the shakes. As you can see I only got the Double Shackburger
Bacon cheese Fries
“Large” Coke.
