We were looking for someplace new that offered GF sandwiches so we took advantage of a BOGO burger offer thru their app.

This was our first time at a Shake Shack after hearing about them for years.

The app was fairly easy to use plus they also offer 3.00 fries and 1.00 fountain drinks thru the app.

We received a text very quickly that our order was ready since they were not busy at all at 615pm on a Tuesday night . This is where things went wrong!

We both ordered the Smoke Shack burger with American cheese, bacon and chopped cherry peppers. My wife’s burger looked great on a GF bun but it was missing the bacon and peppers. My burger was very small in size- slightly bigger than a slider and was soggy due to the peppers being not drained.

My wife talked to the manager and he was very nice and brought us 2 new burgers. My wife’s was good but they put the ShackSauce on it even tho she asked for no sauce! My burger was still super soggy. They need to drain the cherry peppers and grill them as they make the burger cold.

They did give us a 5.00 off coupon to come back but with so many burger places in the area,I’m not sure I will.

I’m thrilled to see this chain moving closer to the west side, since the Oakrook spot can feel a little far for me at times.
This new site has its own style. It’s simple to locate, parking is decent for the area, and the corner placement makes it easy to notice. The interior is smaller, yet still pleasant.

There isn’t a traditional counter; instead, there are a few kiosks for placing orders. When I walked in, a kind staff member guided me through the process. One thing I missed was a soda station, though pricing stays in line with their other sites — a little higher when compared with some fast-food rivals.

My order included two meat sandwiches, cheesy fries, and two drinks, totaling around $30. The food tasted just as wonderful as the meals I’ve had in Chicago or in their other cities. Service was warm, and the entire place looked spotless.

I left fully satisfied and would happily return again.

Stylish and very clean place with pleasant background music. We stopped by around noon for a quick bite and loved how simple and fast the service was. The staff was friendly and brought everything out quickly. Ordering is super easy with all the pictures and customization options. The food was delicious — the meat was perfectly grilled and full of flavor. It was our first time here, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Look. I’m a shake shack fan but it needs to be noted that this has got to be one of the nicest/cleanest shake shacks in the country. Service was also excellent. The staff here are attentive and very professional. Keep up the good work!!

First time at Shake Shack! We liked it!! I loved the milk shake!! The young man who helped us order was really patient. I added pickles and onion to my burger! We could have ordered it with avocado or even bacon. Next time!! Ot was after lunch hours so it was quiet and easy!

What I appreciate about this location is the warm welcome the manager always gives. He’s always caring about the customers, I’ve been 3 times and have observed him interact with various customers. It makes a difference! You would not expect this in most retail or restaurants today, it’s a lost art in terms of engagement with guests. Any way the burgers are always great and the fries always hot and crisp, too!

This was our first and probably last time at Shake Shack. My brother-in-law was so excited to try the Big Shack after hearing about it, so we ordered that along with two other burgers, three fries, one soft drink, and two shakes.

The total was $70, which is absolutely ridiculous for what we received.

The food was fine at best — and honestly a bit bland. The hype didn’t match the reality at all. For the price, we expected something exceptional, but instead it felt like an overpriced Steak ’n Shake. If I’m spending $70, I want food that’s amazing, not average fast-casual burgers and fries. The portions and flavor didn’t come close to justifying the cost.

Very disappointing value overall.

Good food. Little pricey but well worth it.
Tried the hotdog with crispy onions, bacon and cheese. It was acceptable.
Followed by a burger which was good, but not really noteworthy.

Their shakes is where they really shine (which I would hope due to the name)

Had the frozen cocoa shake. It was DELICIOUS.
Would definitely keep going back for their shakes.

$26 for 1 burger w small fries and a milkshake?! The burger was small. Thick patty, but very small diameter bun. Crinkle cut fries were nice. Milkshake was thick. Not a good deal for the price.

We went the day it opened so I get it. They were very busy. Paid almost $60 for an order of fries, two shakes, and what was supposed to be two cheeseburgers and a chicken shack. The chicken shack was on a gluten free bun, which we did not order. We were also charged for a shroom burger. Gross. We did not order that. The cheeseburgers did not have cheese. And we were charged for burgers, even though we ordered them with cheese.
I submitted the issue online and they sent me a mobile gift card for $35 even though this location was not taking mobile/online orders.
They changed the gift card for us.
Onto the second visit. Two shakes. 3 burgers and fries. Over $40. This place is ridiculously overpriced. What is really hard to comprehend is they don’t even put the condiments on the sandwiches. What if I was eating on the run? Also the sandwiches are in sleeves and not wrapped, the fires are just in an open platter. Nothing like having the food be lukewarm by the time you get home. They really need to rethink some of their procedures. The shakes are the only good thing about this place, but still not worth $6.29- $6.99. I was so excited for this location near my home to open up and I am really disappointed. I don’t think the location in Washington D.C was nearly as expensive.
