This was a pretty good burger place with ice cream drinks and fries and onion rings. The customer service was lacking a little as the staff wasn’t overly friendly. The burgers were pretty good though and we liked the shakes. The place is nice and clean and has an easy to read menu. The shop itself is kind of small and they keep the place packed with customers. Overall, we give the food a thumbs up, although it’s a little pricey. The staff could use a refresher on customer service with a smile.

This is a great, must-try restaurant in Monticello, Utah. As a part of a family vacation, driving up from Arizona, I drove the family through Monticello Utah and we stopped at the Shake Shack for a late dinner. The food was yummy, with large portion sizes that filled everyone up (and there were some leftovers), and the milk shakes were particularly delicious. The service was also excellent; making this a location that we’d happily visit again when we find ourselves in, or near this location.

About what I expected for a small town burger stand – not terrible but not fantastic food wise. The ice cream however is definitely tasty and they give you HUGE portions : o If you’re looking for a sweet frozen treat and greasy fries this is the spot to go!
Also people who are ripping on the sweet teens working likely have never worked a customer service job, nor have much experience in a small town. These kids are doing the best they can & it’s great that they’re getting job experience! My experience with the employees was pleasant & the service was reliable.

I was informed by the lovely manager that the location is seasonal, not opened during the winter. These photos and this information will apply to the summer of 2022. The sweet ladies (who agreed to be in the photo) cooking, making shakes, and taking orders were all super friendly and helpful. They got our food to us quickly even with us being a larger group. Food was good and didn’t make anyone feel ill, which after a day of hiking or visiting outdoor sites is actually important. The shakes were especially good.

Delicious ‘mini’ peach shake and excellent bacon cheeseburger. Also got the Point Break ‘refresher’ and will have to try to recreate this once I’m home- it’s SO good! Friendly, prompt service as well. Definitely stop by if you’re driving through.

Everyone in my group loved their homemade shakes. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic. My wife loved her onion rings. Google says crispy crinkle cut fries however my fries were hand cut and just a little overdone, to their defense. We were a group of eleven and they were already busy. So overdone fries were probably not their norm.

$33 for poor quality burgers and soggy fries. 30 min wait for order. Ice cream cone came with kids meal. They decided it was a good idea to serve the cone and let it melt before we got the food. No offer to make a fresh one when I asked where a trash can was to dispose of the now liquid cone. No sense of urgency. Writing orders on pen and paper. Won’t make it long if you’re running business like that and these prices. Always for supporting local business but don’t confuse this shake shack with a real shake shake! Disappointment.

I had a fish sandwich and my friend had a cheeseburger. We shared Fry’s. My fish was way over cooked and the Fry’s were very limp. Cheeseburger had a weird taste about it. Maybe they need to change their oil. Not sure but I doubt we’ll be back. It was freezing cold in the there also.
