The presentation of the food implies it should be appetizing; however, the serving temperature was noticeably cold, and certain items appeared to have been left out for an extended duration. Furthermore, the dining area was relatively quiet, rather than crowded. Typically, the establishment serves well, making it unclear what transpired on this occasion.

I didn’t really like what I ordered. I’m not a fan of smashed burgers. I had lunch here today while passing through. I’d never been at a Shake Shack before, so I had questions about the menu, but I had to order from a touchscreen computer. I ordered two Double SmokeShacks with Crispy Onions, two fries, a vanilla shake and a chocolate shake. My total was $55.80!
The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The order was completed accurately, and the food was hot and freshly prepared. The burgers had peppers on them that I didn’t like. I’m surprised, because I usually like peppers, but not these. I also didn’t like the “crispy” onions. They were dry and stringy. I’m not a fan of their “Shack Sauce” either. Ketchup would have been better. The fries .. we’re just crinkle cut fries which I’m sure started the day frozen. The shake was okay. Nothing I got was worth the price I paid. I won’t be back.

Beautiful display the staff really takes time to make customers feel welcomed with pleasant atmosphere service is satisfactory. New management has brought my experience ten times fold since the last few times I’ve travelled two years ago.

The people are very helpful and friendly. The food is prepared fresh upon ordering. I ordered a burger and fries which came out perfectly made. MynFries were hot and fresh.

First time—burgers were crispy on edges and delicious…looked perfect. Fries—crispy and delicious! Shakes—had the coffee & toffee ones—were yummy. Service—took about 20-25 min for us to get our order after placing it at the digital kiosk. Guessing they were short-staffed. Tables were somewhat in need of cleaning, but not horribly messy and, again, guessing they were “slammed”/short-staffed. But happy to see that being too-busy didn’t impact the quality of the food. Thanks to whoever worked tonight! Nice job

I ordered two Shack Burger singles, one cheeseburger single, two fries, and two fountain Coke drinks, but the price was way too high. They didn’t give me a receipt, and I couldn’t modify the order on the kiosk. The price calculation was really strange.

Stopped for a quick milkshake. It somehow turned into an 45 minute wait. About 25 people who ordered after me got their food first. They ordered full meals, and I just wanted a milkshake. Staff was extremely rude, too. At least I got my shake, and it was very good as always. Be prepared to wait if you come here on a busy day.

Food was made fairly quick and looked mostly fresh. Average of $25 for a burger fry and shake. Also there are constantly long lines for food at this travel plaza. The fries served were Luke warm after sitting under a heat lamp for 15 minutes. Also they refused to put ketchup and mustard on your burger. You are forced to add your own condiments via packets. The cheese sauce was luke warm and tasted like it was out of a can. Next time I will rather spend the additional time at Chick-fil-A and get a better value for the money I spend. It wasn’t bad food just not impressed for the amount I spent to something that wasn’t better than McDonalds. On a positive note, the vanilla shake was great and creamy as it was made from frozen custard. The portions of fries were generous. The sitting area was ample in size, comfortable seating and clean. The staff were great to greet each customer with a smile. They did an awesome job for being obviously understaffed. Overall the value of my meal being in NY and at a service plaza should have been $12-$15 but not more. Also the Shake Shack needs to offer combos or some time of value when purchasing a burger, fry and shake. Overall I can not recommend them due to lack of value for food, the lukewarm temperature of food(served food in temperature danger zone), not putting basic condiments on your burger, and there are competitors with better options for way less in the same service plaza.
