A bit expensive for what you get. The wait was long and the food wasn’t entirely hot when served. The flavor was good especially with the addition of the sauces. The person at the truck apologized for the wait, which ultimately wasn’t an issue. If I werento return, I’d likely get food somewhere in an adjoining town.

Like other reviews, the food is pricey. But this is sitting in the cultural center parking lot. The venue probably dictates the price a little. But as far as food truck food goes, this was some of the best. Everything was cooked to perfection. The available sauces are also homemade and very good.

This was a yummy find next to the Polynesian Cultural Center! The food was good, not overly spicy so the kids could enjoy it to, had some vegetarian options, and the service was great!

Wow. This is a fantastic food truck serving up some exceptional Korean bowls. You must try the kimchee too. It’s located on the Polynesian Cultural Center. Put on the sauces and shake up your bowl. A must stop while on the north side of Oahu and driving through Laie!

Fabulous Fast Food!
A pre PCC lunch and it was excellent! My wife and I both got a bowl (pork and chicken) and were both totally delish! The portions were perfect for a sustaining visit at the PCC, meat, rice, noodles and cabbage. And a mandu (Korean dumpling)! Of course they also had some of the wonderful sauce available. You get to tailor make your own heat level. There was a heat, but also a wonderful flavor! The nice people who operated the restaurant were very friendly. The experience set us up nicely for our PCC visit!

The meat was moist, flavourful, good sized portions. We had a dak chicken plate, bulgogi beef bowl (kids size) and beef mandu (6pcs). We would def recommend!

When we did our recent visit to Hawaii I had to try some Korean BBQ. Really good food. I liked the way you could make the different sauces customized to your liking. Hot, sweet, or savory, or even a bit of all five sauces they had.
The area is setup as a food truck area. But the food trucks are permanently installed. Nice outdoor Hawaiian vibe. It’s really nice at night.

It’s an okay Korean restaurant—nothing too special, but it does the job. If you’re in the area and craving Korean food, it’s a fine option. Just don’t expect anything too mind-blowing. It’s decent for where you are.

Absolutely loved Shaka Shake! The Korean BBQ was incredibly yummy—so flavorful and fresh. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was amazing too—super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a 5-star food truck!
