The place is nice and clean with good vegetarian options. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even help you choose the right options.
The prices are value for money considering the portion sizes. Overall, it’s a good and economical place for food.

“The food at this spot looks incredibly fresh and inviting! I love the setup with the customizable salad bar – it’s great to see so many vibrant ingredients like chickpeas, hummus, and what looks like a fresh salsa or chopped salad. The sauces, both ‘White Sauce’ and ‘Red Hot Sauce,’ neatly lined up on the top shelf, suggest a place that knows its flavors and offers variety. Plus, those squeeze bottles below with different colored sauces hint at even more delicious options. It’s clear they prioritize choice and quality, making for a promising meal experience!”

Love the guys here and the food is always so good and fresh. (Highly recommend the chicken platter with extra chicken)
This will be my main halal place until the Yonkers location gets revamped. The service there is no good, very bad actually.
Thanks to white plains location for holding it down !!

I never had halal food before and she let me try the chicken so I felt secure in my decision. Everything was so good! I was going to stop by another establishment (that starts with a C) for a bowl of essentially the same food and I’m so happy I decided to try something new! The cost was awesome for the size of the platter, the front + bathroom was clean, the food tasted fresh, and the service was wonderful! I am eager to enjoy halal food again and this was a great first experience.

Was driving upstate from Queens and decides to stop here on the way as it was one of the only Halal places up north of the city. It wasn’t a bad choice, I’ve had Shahs in the City and it tastes similar to what you would get at carts in the city. Also the price is very affordable and portions are decent. Family tried the Philly cheese steak, lamb gyro and chicken & lamb over rice. I tasted everything and the rice dishes are superior to the others in my opinion. This chain is more authentic then halal guys for sure and I hope they can keep that authenticity as they expand. Still can’t beat the carts but this is worth the price and tastes better then other chains trying to take cart food and making it into sit down restaurants across the country.

I decided to eat here after seeing a growing number of great reviews. The restaurant is very clean and has comfortable booths for dining. Service is quick and efficient, as the food is prepared on a line where you can customize your perfect plate or pita. I chose a combo plate with chicken and lamb, and I loved being able to pick from so many toppings. While my plate might not look very appetizing in pictures, not a single grain of rice was left—it was absolutely delicious! Not pictured are the green sauce and hot sauce I asked for on the side, which were fantastic additions. I will happily eat here again in the future!

Unbelievable deal!! For $9-11 dollars you can have 2-3 yummy meals. The staff is kind and the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Will definitely be returning regularly!

It was our first time trying out Shah’s Halal Food .We ordered the Chicken Over Rice, Lamb Over Rice, and the Pakora Fries—all of which were genuinely tasty and felt like great value for the money. The portions were generous, and the flavor was spot-on. My only minor wish is that the sauces could be just a tad spicier, but overall, it’s highly recommended for a delicious and satisfying meal.
