With so many Shah’s Halal spots popping up around CT, we decided it was time to go and see what they were all about! We visited their Norwalk location for a fast-casual dinner. We enjoyed their chicken and lamb combo platter over rice with all of the fixings, including all of their signature sauces, as well as the kofta gyro. Even their Philly cheesesteak and hot wings were delicious! I would definitely come back and it’s great to know a quality halal spot I can recommend. All of the ingredients were noticeably fresh, and the staff worked quickly to prepare all of the orders coming their way!

This message is for the owner not the employee. I got the lamb over rice and Philly cheese steak. The lamb over rice was good, i would recommend that. But the cheesesteak looks like from a third world country. Nothing like what has bee advertised. I don’t know why your cook in the back (not front) is so stingy about the portion. Look at the pictures and judge yourself. Oh yes your fries are great!!

I have been going here for several weeks, and while the food can be good, the prices are not. It costs 12 dollars not including tax for a ‘platter’. The size really is nothing to brag about, and the service is not always the kindest. I usually ask for a bit more to make it worth the price since it is practically 13 dollars, and it is rude when you can the person helping you deliberately gives you the bare minimum to meet your wishes, and can be stingy. The bell is extremely loud, and ruins the atmosphere completely. I encourage better, kinder service and more reasonable prices, as well as a less noisy door bell.

The food that was delivered tonight was (as usual) delicious. But it was only about 2/3 of the food we ordered. When we called to explain that 3 items were missing, it took WAY too long for two non-native speakers to grasp that items were missing from our order. They insisted the order was bagged complate and offered that “the driver” must have taken items out. Yes, that makes sense: grubhub driver loves the food so much he just decided to risk his job taking his dinner out of our order. I wasn’t looking for a refund – grubhub gives them pretty much no-questions-asked. I really just wanted an acknowledgment, maybe an indication that they actually care when a mistake is made. It’s a shame the service is lacking because the food is very good.

A great place serving fast food style gyros and other halal options. We ordered online and our food was ready in 20 mins, with all items neatly packaged. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. My only gripe would be they need to add more meat to to sandwiches, so it covers the entire bread. Stopping 1 inch short of the edge is sloppy and lazy. Other than that, pretty good food. Would recommend.

Everything about this place is phenomenal! Every Saturday when I get a chance with my schedule. I drive from Danbury over to Norwalk for this Shah’s. The food is always amazing and fresh. What makes this Shahs stand out from the rest is the employee Mike who works there. He’s super consider considerate and really nice. You get fresh food from a clean restaurant by quality customer service (Mike!!) My go to is always the lamb over rice with Everything on it with their fries.

This is a place you need to go to get full! Full with delicious, tasty combination of meat and sauces. It opens late too! Decided to get the platter and soak it with the white sauce and had a side of the hot sauce. Absolutely hit the spot for a hearty meal. Order the fries on the side too, big size fries great for dipping. Parking in shopping center lot so not an issue.
