During our vacation, my husband and I were driving from Connecticut back to Orlando. Many establishments were closed, so we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. The food was exceptional; it was so good that we found ourselves licking our fingers without concern for the mess. The white sauce, in particular, was delicious. The premises were clean and well-maintained, and the staff member at the counter was very accommodating. They even offered us a sample before ordering, allowing us to choose between mild and spicy options.

Got the chicken gyro on DoorDash, firstly impressed that they don’t make the portions smaller because it’s a door dash order like other establishments in the area. I decided to get just the red sauce, at first it looked like it wasn’t wrapped like a traditional gyro but more like a wrap. The red sauce didn’t really pose any flavor just heat which kinda deal breaker perhaps the green sauce would have been a better option. There was a generous amount of cucumber but tomatoes were real absent in my opinion in gyro or shawarmas tomatoes are a key ingredient so there should be a good amount however I think maybe 3 pieces of my whole gyro. Ultimately great portions nothing to brag about would try again with the green sauce to try to get some kind of flavor to this gyro.

Be Aware: This place appears to be mostly run by young staff who lack proper customer service skills. More attention is given to chatting than to food preparation. Over multiple visits, I’ve noticed that the portion sizes have consistently been smaller. During my most recent visit, I mentioned this concern to the person at the counter, but it was not taken seriously.
For a more professional experience, I prefer Naz Halal in Fredericksburg, where the owner is often present, customer service is better, and portion sizes are fair.

Great food! I got the combination lamb and chicken platter and my husband got the chicken platter. I added peppers and onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus on the side, chickpeas, onions, Tzatziki and green sauce on the side and my husband got hot sauce on his. Very good meal and it was 11.99 each. Will be coming back!

The food is delicious and you can get a combo I had falafel lamb, rice bowl, with hummus salad tomatoes cucumbers, white sauce and green sauce, should have tried the red sauce to. 12 dollars and some change. The food is tasty and I don’t feel heavy afterwards, portions exactly right, I feel filled, and not overeaten. This place is a gem check it out. Wife and I decided to stop here thinking we were just going to get a snack. Once seeing the food and options we both decided to get a platter. Wife got the chicken and I got the combo (chicken and lamb). We were both very impressed with the food and it was absolutely amazing. I can see why they bottled the white sauce and sell it. Food is made fresh daily at the end of the night everything left over is thrown out. We will definitely be back for sure.

Found this place by accident and glad I chose it for dinner!! I stuck to basics and got a chicken gyro with fries and a drink. The prices are very reasonable and they are super friendly! There was no irritation when I asked his opinion for what goes in it typically, which I really appreciated! Portion sizing is great too. The fries have a perfect crisp. They are thick so I’d recommend if you like potato-y fries. But you get A LOT.

Shah’s Halal Food never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, from the tender chicken over rice to the delicious white and hot sauce combo. The portions are generous and totally worth it.
A special shoutout to Basharat and Roberto, they always provide amazing service with a friendly attitude and make sure every order is spot on. They truly go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic halal food!

Ordered through DoorDash for their buy 1 get 1 and was amazed by the deliciousness of the food. Portions are great food arrived still hot including the side of pitas. Compared to other competitors I would definitely order from here over them again.
