Service was great and i ordered two platters and she marked them so i can easily tell which one was the lamb and the combo. The person who made my food was very nice. Accidentally went to this location thats is further away from work compared to another shahs but im glad because the service was excellent!

One of our favorite places to order delivery from via Uber. Tonight the order was missing one meal, and they quickly made it right by delivering the missing meal plus a dessert. Great food, very nice people, highly recommend! Also, the green sauce is the best!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Sha’s Food was so bad that I felt I had to. The service was absolutely horrible — the staff seemed uninterested, unorganized, and rude when we asked simple questions. Our order took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, parts of it were missing. No apology, no effort to fix it — just blank stares and attitude.
The food itself didn’t make up for the experience either. It was bland, lukewarm, and clearly not freshly prepared. For the prices they charge, you’d expect at least decent quality and basic courtesy.
Between the horrible service and disappointing food, I can honestly say I won’t be coming back. Sha’s Food needs serious improvements in both staff training and kitchen quality.

I have been to this establishment to pick up food 4 times. The first time ever, I got their chicken platter and was impressed. The second and third times I got their fish plate, and was even more pleased. The platter came with 2 nice size fish pieces, about 4×4 cm pieces each. The fish pieces were white and about an inch thick each. Today, we purchased the fish platter and I have no idea what they put in the platter. It was not the fish I’d had in the past. Today we got what appeared to be a fried fritter. They were about 2x 2 cm un size, and not even a half an inch in thickness. There was no fish noted in the fried batter. Horrible! Shah’s, what happened? So terribly disappointed!

We come from NY, where there is Halal options on every few blocks. Our expectations were high and quite honestly didn’t disappoint. The prices are fair & the customer service is extremely amiable. The place is clean, despite it getting busy. The only thing I didn’t like and that’s just my taste, was that one of the sauces have too much vinegar. Hard to tell which one since I had all three and I exceeded myself when I asked them to put twice the portion since it’s how I usually order in NY. Next time I’d just get regular portion sauce because despite that it’s delicious. I’m just the type of person who doesn’t put dressing on salads cause I can’t stand the vinegar smell. Anyways both my husband and I loved it.

I order using Uber eat and they gave half of food. Uber price is higher then their in-store price . Food quality was not good as well. In store thay care more about it . No sauce was in it. I attached my Uber receipt price and the store price. I had to go to store for half of the order to pick up .

I really wish I had read the reviews about them using the restroom, touching raw meat, and digging through garbage before serving food with unwashed hands before I ordered from here. My friend and I both got horrible food poisoning almost immediately after eating our food. They’re refusing to give a refund too, because we don’t have a photo of the food we already ate. Regardless, I am reporting this restaurant to the Health Department and encourage everybody else to as well. I can’t believe this location has stayed open this long with the reviews I see here.

Avoid this location at all costs.
Over time, the quality here has steadily declined. In contrast, the new locations in Stratford and Orange offer much better service and maintain higher food hygiene standards. Unfortunately, the Bridgeport location seems to rely on undertrained staff and every week new employee is present with a new type of bad attitude, no proper food hygiene is followed, i have seen employees going in the bathroom to use phones and started giving food with unwashed hands. This impacts both the food and overall experience.
I ate from here about a dozen times in last two years but more recently, twice I got stomach aches right after eating from this place.
Stay away, no food safety manager ever present.
