This was my first time at Shah’s Halal Food, and we absolutely loved it!
I’m usually a picky eater and don’t like food that’s too spicy, but right away the owner greeted us warmly, guided us through the menu, and helped me pick something that matched my taste. I went with the lamb & beef platter, and my husband got the gyro with white sauce — both were perfectly seasoned and full of flavor, exactly what I was hoping for.
The location is super convenient, just 7 minutes from my workplace. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the place was spotless.
5 out of 5 — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all my friends!

I ordered “lamb over rice” for takeout from this place, and I must say I’m very disappointed with the food. It felt like a complete waste of my money. The meat, rice, sauce, and salad did not taste good. The flavor was very underwhelming overall.
Because of the high rating, I was hoping it would be good and decided to try it out. I now completely regret that decision. At least I know not to order that specific dish again. This review is based solely on that dish.
I also feel the food is overpriced for the quality. It cost me $15.39 with tax, which is a lot for what I received.
I cannot say much about the atmosphere or service since I was only there briefly to pick up my order.
I really wanted to support them and enjoy their food, especially since it’s halal. 🙁

The best halal platter place out there! They don’t skimp on portions and even offer fish as an option for platters or wraps. The kofta was my favorite part of the platter! The interior is spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly, they really load up your platters generously. As a George Mason student, having this late night spot right down the road is perfect. This will definitely become a regular spot for my friends and me!

Shah’s Halal Food is honestly one of the best spots for halal food. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Everything tastes amazing, and the portions are very generous for the price.
What I really like is how affordable it is — very cheap compared to other places, but the quality is still top level. You get great value for your money. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming.

My partner and I came to Shah’s Halal Grill for some late-night bites, and it was an amazing experience! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — you can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions were generous and everything came out hot and delicious.

My partner and I walked into Shah’s today after the place we were planning to eat at ended up being closed. I was delighted to see a large menu with many yummy options! The man who served us was incredibly friendly and helpful and served so much meat!
Also we got 2 entress, fries and a drink for just about $30 a price range not common for fast casual these days.
