I had a party yesterday for about 12 guests and Shah’s Halal was amazing! I placed a large order right before the party and they had it ready within an hour — super fast and friendly service.
The food was fantastic — we got chicken, lamb, rice, salad, and all the sauces. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were very generous. Our guests loved it! The meats were tender, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the salad was crisp.
Highly recommend Shah’s Halal for catering or large orders. Great experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

It is shocking that how the google review is so high for this place. It is such a labor to select a place that sells good quality and “actual halal” food in US. One thing that I want to emphasize is that you need to improve the quality of your food and ingredients. For example, the hummus that you sent me was not really a hummus..it was some liquidy mix and mash of i do not what !! Such a low quality and bad tasting one. Plus pita bread was so hard and cheap quality as well. If you can’t sell a good quality n organic hummus at low price then you better increase the price but do not compromise on the taste and the quality and same for the pita breads. As far as the chicken burger and shawarma, they were also not tasty as well. Just horrible. No good combination of spices or anything. Overall I will say, if their food is cheap and so is the quality. Won’t buy again. Waste of money n time !

We stopped by SHAHS HALAL in Laurel and everything was amazing! We had the fish gyro and the falafel gyro with fries — all of it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The owner was so kind and even gave me a portion of lamb with tzatziki sauce and cilantro, which was absolutely delicious! You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Great food, generous portions, and friendly service, we’ll definitely be back!

I went to a Friendsgiving Saturday November 15, 2025 and everyone that was invited had to bring catering. And let me tell you, man did I I hit a home run with Shah’s Halal Food! ️ the food was delicious and it was gone within an hour lol I ordered chicken, lamb, rice and veggies the very same day and the manager was caught off guard when I told him that I needed within a couple of hours lol the manager and his staff very friendly and professional, even gave me extra sauces and gave me a free soda I truly thank these guys and would recommend them to anyone for any catering service, thanks again Shah’s Halal, until next time

This place is in a strip mall and has limited seating, but the food and the service were top-notch. Perfect spot if you need to grab halal food on the go. Their baklava tasted fresh, too.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever seen at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the staff acted like they didn’t care at all. We were ignored, spoken to with attitude, and treated as if we were bothering them just by being there. The service was extremely slow, no one checked on us, and simple requests were met with frustration. The food might have been okay, but the terrible customer service ruined the entire visit. I will definitely not be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They seriously need to retrain their staff and learn basic respect for customers.

I have eaten here so many times but this is my first review. Shah’s are ALWAYS consistent. I did not mean to order the Combo (Lamb and Chicken) Over Rice however the lamb was very tender and well seasoned like the chicken. This a very tasty plate of food. If you have never had Halal food, please try this place. The restaurant is very modern and very clean and the staff is so kind and polite.
