Shah’s Halal was established in 2005 with one food cart in Richmond Hill Queens on 121st and Liberty Avenue, and we’ve been tantalizing taste buds ever since. In 2016, we developed our first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, “the best Halal Food Restaurant in Long Island NY” and we’ve definitely grown a lot since then! We know our customers are just as passionate about great food as we are. I had the BEST experience at Shah’s Halal Food thanks to Brian and Ahmed! My brother and I came in, and from the moment we walked through the door, they treated us like VIPs. Their energy, kindness, and professionalism were next level.
Not only was the food absolutely amazing (fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made), but Brian and Ahmed truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. They were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers.
It’s rare to find service this good nowadays. Brian and Ahmed are absolute rockstars and a huge reason we’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re thinking about stopping by, DO IT — and hope you get served by them!

I heard of Shah’s when I was in VA. My daughter and her cousins go to school in Pittsburgh and they kept saying how good Shah’s was. So first chance I was up here we went to dinner. This is not a fancy place, but if you like a hole in the wall you came to the right place. The staff us super friendly, typical middle eastern hospitality. The food is tasty, go with the lamb, and portions are good, I guarantee you’ll be full and maybe take some back home. The price was very reasonable, I highly recommend you give it a try.

I ordered from here on Christmas using Uber Eats. Food arrived fast and hot! Food was good! I took away a star because I ordered two combo platters with all 3 flavor sauces on the side and I got no sauce at all. I used salad dressing I had. It was good but know it would have been better with sauce that goes with it.

First off ridiculously good flavor! I was a skeptic at first until my sister had me try her chicken gyro with this white sauce (no its not cucumer sauce)! Long story short lol I was hooked and this holy grail ‘WHITE SAUCE’ omg I can’t, it’s literally so good, just try this place and thank me later! My gyro’s were the size of burritos, huge! 2 chicken gyros for $15.99 (receipt in pics.) I wish I could give more stars, I would. Flavorful, fresh, generous portion sizes, best prices, inviting atmosphere, top notch service, I can just go on. I love this place now. And they gave me a huge bottle of white sauce! (Size of bottle in pics) Like whattttttttt! I’m in love, Expectations well exceeded which is not easy because I’m a ‘FOODIE!’ My new go to spot, hands down!

I ordered wings and nuggets from Shah’s Halal through DoorDash, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The order was delivered without the essential white sauce and red sauce, which are a standard part of their meals. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, instead of offering a sincere apology or solution, the staff gave lame excuses and showed no accountability.
This is completely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customers. A business that cannot handle basic quality control, and then fails to respond properly when contacted, does not deserve any trust.
I am giving 1 star only because there is no option for zero. Poor service, careless staff, and zero customer care.

Me and my boys came into the shahs Oakland location late from a basketball game and i instantly knew by the smell it was finna be a banger. I met a worker named Ahmed there and was honestly the most hardworking and welcoming worker I’ve met. Told me a little bit about his experience working there and made the environment fun and friendly. Real talk give that boy a raise we need to recognize more hard workers like him. Food 5 ⭐️ and service from my guy Ahmed 11/10!!

I ordered food for me and my friend and I got all of the sauce on the side since the first time I ordered it was kind of messy. No one gave me a dollar back. Nobody offered free food or nothing. I couldn’t even understand them when I was talking and I spent like $50 through Uber eats to literally get fries with no sauce or even ketchup in the bag and the chicken, Gyro literally had nothing on it whatsoever no sauce in the bag or nothing and I got two extra white sauces
