Have been wanting to try this brand for some time so got the opportunity to try their recently opened branch on Dutch Broadway.
Amazing food and service with proper guidance and customisation by the owner.
The best thing is the value for money. Ordered mix combo (chicken &lamb) and it was enough for 2 ppl.

On my recent visit, 12/29/25 around 10:30pm the employee I interacted with displayed extremely poor customer service. The behavior was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I was spoken to in an inappropriate manner, and my concerns were not handled with courtesy or patience. This conduct made me feel uncomfortable and disappointed, especially considering Shah Halal’s reputation for quality service.
As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. I believe this matter should be addressed seriously, and I hope the employee receives proper training to ensure better treatment of customers in the future. Employee has a long beard and Ignoring beard restraints during food handling. This is a valid health concern.
I am bringing this to your attention so that similar incidents do not happen to others. I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue and take appropriate action.

My mom ordered a chicken over over rice from this Shah’s halal restaurant today. It was definitely top 5 — for $9.99 they gave a lot of food. The chicken was cubed and not crushed up into shreds like most of the Shah’s Halal food carts, and they gave a good amount of sauce. Also, I like how they use plastic containers instead of the disposable take-out containers. My food was made relatively quickly and it was moderately busy. Also, this store is not too far from me, so that’s an added bonus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a quick platter or gyro made fresh and on the spot, and someone who wants a meal that will fill them up. Will I come back here? Yes.
