I had the chicken korma (spice level 2, perfect gentle warmth for me who’s fairly sensitive), garlic naan, mango lassi, a cocktail, and I loved the samosas which historically have been hit or miss at different places in my opinion. I wanted like 8 of those suckers.
Back to the korma, I was curious if I’d like the raisins that come in it or not. They were green and plump, and turns out they add such a wonderful little *burst* of juicy sweetness in the midst of the creamy warmth!
I didn’t have my vegan partner with me this time, but it seemed like there were a good amount of vegetarian options. I’m not sure how many vegan ones there are because some sauces are dairy-based, but there’s probably at least a few.
Impeccable, loved it, will be coming back when I visit Omaha in the future. Thank you ♡
Even had a drink with the owner on a quiet Thursday night – got there close to closing – and yet – was welcomed with a , no rush , great attitude and the staff was full of heart!
Enjoyed a delectable authentic dinner with exceptional service in a beautiful restaurant. Located in the heart of downtown Omaha. I loved the wall water feature. The soups and tea were delicious as well as the lamb saag.
As we walked into the restaurant, we noticed a lingering odor, mostly from the bathrooms,
Food was good, served fairly quickly. But the service was non existant. Service was done with Zero Smiles.
We had to put in some effort to get the attention of the server to take our order. The dinner plates were dumped on the table rather than being placed in front of the diners.
Once the food was served, we had to look for someone to get our water glasses refilled.
Was not the best ambience or service.
We did leave our feedback with the reception, they cited trainees on the floor and short staff for the service experience.
I hope they take the feedback seriously and do something about the ambience and the service.
