The garlic naan bread was soft with a slightly crisp outside and very delicious! The Curry Chicken was very tasty!! The chicken was still juicy and very flavorful with the medium spicy curry!! The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet! The service was excellent as well! I will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu items!! Excellent dining experience!!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The Tikka Masala Chicken was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the presentation of all the dishes was excellent. The naan was fresh and fluffy, and the vegetable samosa was full of rich spices. Highly recommend Shahi Palace for a fantastic meal!

I have been going to this place for over 5 yrs and last night was pure digust. The food was way too salty to eat and the Pakora was burnt.

Last night in Sioux City, Iowa and thought I would try something different, I had never eaten Indian cuisine before. The restaurant is lovely and intimate with kind, courteous staff.
After patiently explaining the dishes to me I confidently ordered, the food was FANTASTIC… so full of flavor. I wish I had gone at the beginning of my trip so I could have dined more. What a Fantastic first experience, thank you ❤️

I’ve had Indian cuisine all over the country. This spot is really good. Not quite up there with the most authentic I’ve had in other states but for this area its damn good food. Got all my dishes extra spicy and they arent kidding, its pretty hot. My only issue was the garlic naan. It could use more garlic, pretty weak.

This restaurant is the worst. The employees here don’t listen to anyone. They do whatever they want. I asked them to add sugar to the tea, but they said, “We’ll make it our way, Whoever eats food in this restaurant, it is the worst food. The worst! Food for several days is sold here.

Service was quick and attentive. We were seated promptly and food came promptly as well. Nice quiet atmosphere which I appreciate. Madras was our favorite! We also got biryani and krahi. We got things mild but would recommend going spicier for all. Medium was still pretty mild.

It was slow when we went, so that could have been part of why our service was good, but we had really good service. Perhaps if busier it would have been different, but staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. They stayed on top of things as well.
Food was good. Garlic Naan was very good. We wished we ordered more. Meals themselves were very good but were also quite rich, and perhaps this is normal, but after we got about half way through, we were ready to be done, just due to the rich flavor. Not saying this is a bad thing. Just saying that too much of anything rich and it will tend to be that way after a while.
Place was clean and well kept up. It was a little odd that they had nice tablecloths and listed fine dining, yet they had paper sheets over the tablecloths to try and catch spills. Kinda felt like what you do for little kids. But, everything was done tactfully and with taste.
We would certainly come back again. However, we would likely order 1 meal to share and then some sides in addition, due to the richness of the meals.

Ffrom the outside, I wasn’t excited to go in. But it’s nice inside. Ckean, midern looking, very suitable for a date. And there’s a host who had an English Australian type accent; very classy! My server was a nice young lady.
Ok, that’s all the crap that i consider ancillary. Now, the food! Plenty of sauce on my Rogan Josh. It looks included “tangy yogurt” which never sounded good to me. But I wanted something new to me. It was excellent. Wait. The shrimp had a kind of wrong texture. The chicken was very good. Yes for four bucks extra, I had both. There was plenty of food. The sauce was wonderful. The rice was good and plentiful. Definitely recommended?

I BARELY GIVE REVIEWS, LET ALONE A BAD ONE. I used to eat here with friends about 5yrs ago and then I moved but recently came back into town and decided to grab food from here since it was one of my favorite restaurants. the food used to taste delicious. However, when I ordered this time around, it was one of the most disgusting foods I have ever consumed! I ordered to go beef biryani, it was so dry and looked like it was microwaved and was not fresh at all. it was so dry and tasteless that i couldn’t believe they sold it to a customer. I also had ordered the butter chicken & it was very small in portion, it didn’t even fill halfway of the already small container it came in! I never went back. They might have a new chef or something because this is not the same food I had back in the days & it sucks because I used to love it! DO BETTER PLEASE. PEOPLE DON’T BUY FOOD FROM RESTAURANTS TO WASTE MONEY OR FOR THE FUN OF IT.
