I would’ve made this a common occurrence until I got charged 9 quid for a chips, cheese and donner meat. On your menu it says 7.95. I hope you enjoy the over charge because I won’t be back. Also the food wasn’t even good.

Friendly and respectful atmosphere, every counter and surface is nice and clean. Food was more than good. Peshwari Nan was fantastic . I’ll be a regular from now on. You can’t beat a place that takes pride in what they do. Cheers for the food.

I went here moments after I’d thrown away the ‘food’ I’d ordered at Shah’s Palace across the road (worst place in town) and the guys behind the counter were terrific; friendly and respectful, and I have to say, really patient with me as I was upset at the rubbish I’d just been served from Shah’s Palace! (one star review as there’s not a ‘zero star’ option).
I ordered the same… a shish and a portion of chips. The difference was like night and day. I got exactly what I ordered, and it was delicious. I live in a small, rural town in NI, so a shish is a real treat as I can’t get one here. From now on, when I’m visiting Kilmarnock, I’ll be back to Shah’s curry house.

Ordered two curries last night 23/3/24 and the one with chicken tikka was fine, the plain chicken one the meat was rancid and completely inedible.
As soon as you opened the container you could smell something was not right.
This is not the first time we have had chicken dishes from them and the meat was off.
The best thing they do is kebabs.

Ordered from here 3 times, all with negative experiences.
1. Order took over 2 hours to arrive, with numerous phone calls it eventually arrived.
2. Wrong order appeared at the door, delivery driver had to return to the shop and came back half an hour later saying it had been in the car all that time with the wrong slip attached. The shop refused to take anything off the bill for the inconvenience.
3. Put an order in to be delivered at 8pm and it turned up at 7:25 therefor it will be stone cold by the time I get round to eating it.
Absolutely no consistency with this takeaway. It is a great shame as the food is great.
