Great customer service when we entered the front door. Although it was a little cold, we still ate outside to enjoy the view. Our waiter was Krysta and she’s the best damn waiter on this side of Rankin County. She made sure we had everything we needed. She was consistent, prompt, professional & a great personality. I will be asking for her the next time we go and the waiter at the bar Nate knows he can make a drink. I don’t know the supervisor name that night but he was nice and sweet as well. Our food was hot, fresh and came out quick & I loved that. Everything was 10/10 I highly recommend and will be going back.

Great food. Great staff. It took a little while to get our drinks and food, but they were well worth the wait. We had the Gator Bites to start and then shared Seafood Mac and Cheese along with the Coconut Shrimp plate.

When I went for my 21st birthday Reva was very accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us frequently. Her service was beyond exceptional. I would recommend this place if you are entering drinking age. They also sung to me and gave me a brown with ice cream. I will definitely be going back to this wonderful establishment.

Andrea is an AMAZING HOST!!! You must meet her! The greeting was so warm, welcoming, and friendly! My server Reva was as sweet as could be, she checked on me frequently & keep my cup full. I had the spinach, artichoke, and grilled shrimp dip for my appetizer & the Shaggy’s Burger for my entree.Shaggy’s on the Rez is a must try!

We stopped in Jackson on our way to Georgia and decided to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my husband at Shaggy’s on the Rez. What a great choice! The restaurant sits right on the reservoir, offering beautiful water views both inside and out—it has such a relaxed, coastal vibe.
The manager and our waitress were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. My husband had the crab-stuffed flounder, which was a thick, flaky cut with amazing flavor. We also tried the crab claws and Shaggy’s broiled oysters—both were delicious. The Bloody Mary was on point!
Everything about our visit was enjoyable, from the atmosphere to the food to the service. We’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time we pass through Jackson!

The mashed potatoe “Beach Balls” were an interesting new food.
Hush puppies where excellent. And I’ve never had schrimp and cheese on French fries but the “Seafood fries” were pretty good although the fries were a little soggy. The cheesecake was also excellent. Fun place. Best in the area.

We had the most incredible time after the MSHAA Marching Band Championship by choosing Shaggys on the Rez. After being in the cold rain all day, we picked Shaggys for dinner. From the time we entered, the atmosphere was so hospitable and welcoming. We ordered and our food came quickly. Janiya was our server and she was so good! She was attentive and so accommodating. I didn’t get the kind lady’s name at the host stand but she was also great on our way out. We needed a bag because we had several to go plates. My youngest son loves wings and he told her his wings were SO good. They hit it off and she engaged with him, laughing and smiling. Just a great way to end a great day! Thanks for a great family dinner after a long day! From the little guy to Grandma, everyone was full and satisfied!

Just passing through and was super impressed. All of the staff took care of us, not just our server, and it was so hospitable. Had spinach dip for appetizer that was solid, and key lime pie that was great as well, but the star was by far the mushroom cream sauce on my entree. Fish was fresh and the portion was huge. Whoa !!! 10/10.

Great food, fun vibes, and unfortunately my sister works here so I’m contractually obligated to say nice things. KIDDING! That was my favorite part!!!!
