The lobster mac and cheese was another highlight. While there was not a large amount of lobster meat, the flavor was so rich and well done that it truly did not need more. It was creamy, indulgent, and perfectly seasoned. The jerk shrimp bowl was also a standout. The combination of pineapple salsa and jasmine rice was incredibly satisfying. Even after a full meal, the portions were generous enough that we still had plenty left to take home. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a place we would absolutely return to.
Unfortunately, the food just didn’t match the experience. The fish tacos tasted overly sweet — almost like a sugar sandwich — and the fish itself was dry. The pork dish was just okay; the salsa on top was the best part of it. The po’boy was average and didn’t really stand out. The highlight of the meal was definitely the spinach dip.
Timing was also a bit off. The appetizer took quite a while to come out, but then the entrées arrived almost immediately afterward, which made the pacing feel rushed.
Overall, great service and a beautiful setting, but the food didn’t live up to the expectation. I hope they’re able to tighten up the kitchen because the potential is definitely there.
My husband and I sat outside and had Nathan as our server and he was great! 10/10 recommend coming here and seeing him! He worked around eating restrictions I have and gave awesome recommendations!
We truly enjoyed our experience eating there.
The atmosphere was great, beer was cold, and the food was delicious.
The spot is straight fire—ocean views that hit different, killer playlist, and that laid-back Gulf Coast energy. We went for the grilled chicken options (shoutout to the Southwest Chicken Salad and The Cool Chick sandwich—juicy, flavorful, and not heavy at all), and everything was on point. Fresh ingredients, perfect grill marks, and portions that actually satisfy.
But the real MVP? Our server Gale! She was legendary—super attentive without hovering, cracked the best jokes, knew the menu inside out, and made sure our drinks stayed ice-cold and our table was spotless. She even hooked us up with some spot-on recs and handled everything with that genuine Southern charm that makes you feel like family. Gale turned a great meal into an unforgettable hang. If you’re in Gulfport, ask for her section—you won’t regret it!
