The pastry was delicious.
But the service!! Woah!! Those young ladies were absolutely perfect! Friendly, polite, respectful in appearance and efficient.

We were students at Murray State University and Shaffer was always our favorite place to go for a fun morning in between classes or to go on the weekends. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, it makes for a cozy hangout or work place. The staff is the best—so friendly and welcoming. Best coffee we have ever had. We have now moved away and living in a Major city but still talk about Shaffer being the best coffee shop we have ever been to! You can tell they put a lot of care and effort into their drinks and bakery goods. I’ve heard that the syrups they make themselves so they taste way better than some coffee shops that just use the generic syrup brands. We would always love trying the seasonal drinks they have. So much fun! Highly recommend stopping here even if you’re just visiting or driving through.

I visited this café today and had a latte with nut syrup along with a small cherry pastry. The coffee was delicious, and the pastry was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very friendly, which is extremely important to me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys excellent coffee and values a great atmosphere.

I got a Iced Salted Caramel Latte and a Loaded Avocado Bagel with my Boyfriend this morning and everything was Amazing, I absolutely loved that Bagel ❤️ 10/10
And the coffee was great of course paired with there perfect Atmosphere in the building, it was very Cozy and I would definitely recommend going there

My latte was super yummy on my busiest day (which is saying something) last week, and the service was fantastic!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If I’m in Murray again soon and need a place to do a little bit of laptop work, this will probably be my go-to stop unless I need a printer.

We read that Murray has friendly people, and we’ve seen evidence everywhere, but Shaffer’s is the best. After I accidentally spilled our drinks in my car, they replaced them for me. Thank you so much for another great experience with wonderful food, coffee, AND service!

First time here today and it’s pretty good overall, the services was great and they were very helpful. Had the cheesecake waffle the balance of flavor and fruit on it was perfect , definitely will be back
