This little TO GO spot is a hidden gem! From the menu staples, to the daily specials, it’s an adventure every time I walk in the door.
I’m a huge fan of Baked potato days, but the cornbread bowls are just as good. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that they were too 3 in the area for Ribs….real slow smoked ribs. NOT oven baked and soaked in sauce like some other places.
My fiance will often grab herself a variety of pasta and macaroni salads, while I tend to stock up on grab and go desserts. I had the cheesecake peach cobbler today, it was spectacular. I had the Dubai Chocolate cookie last week with that crunchy stuff on it…..so good!
And I don’t think I’ve walked out without a dirty soda since they started serving them. The boy likes his sour gushers and boba lemonade!
If you’ve not stopped in, you’re absolutely missing out!

Everything about this place is wonderful. We tried the pulled pork Mac and cheese and the potatoes which were on special today. We also tried the Dubai strawberry Cups and some Dubai chocolates as well a cotton candy lotus drink. Everything was so amazing! I had almost finished my recommended drink before we returned home! We think the pulled pork and Mac and cheese is the best we have ever had in the history of forever and why we didn’t get more for later I am not quite sure but we will have to come right back! Go get you some!! I’m also a fan of the Michigan cherry chips and you can never find those so what an awesome discovery.

Shafer’s catered our wedding reception last weekend and it was AMAZING!!! They were so easy to work with, so accommodating, and incredibly kind. The food was phenomenal, we catered green beans (Dawn’s way is the best way), Mac n cheese, and pulled pork. It was all delicious and our guests were very pleased to say the least. They even came back and got the hot boxes to make the after reception clean up even easier.
I highly recommend, I could not asked for a more seamless experience. Thank you all so much for your amazing food and kind demeanor.

went and got the dubai strawberry cups as well as animal cracker cake cups, banana pudding, and a strawberry dubai egg (basically a big dubai bar with freeze dried strawberries on top) everything was every good and in total we only spent 39$ on 5 things and had a good amount. the people were very friendly inside

The food is great. I don’t get a lot of smoke flavor from the meat, but it’s excellent quality and the bbq sauce is fantastic. I think the portions are exactly right for the price. I’ve tried several of their desserts and I’ve come to love the banana pudding. The peach cobbler was very disappointing. It’s definitely not inspired by a southern recipe. Some lumps of cinnamon cake stuffed into a cup with slices of cooked peaches. But I can forgive that sin because everything else is awesome.

Place is great! People working there very nice. Been multiple times. Pulled chicken is really good but the chopped brisket steals the show in my opinion. The Mac N Cheese and mashed potatoes are about the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend giving them a try.

I just ate from here I ordered the Mac and cheese bowl with chicken and the brisket platter. I was so excited because we have NO GOOD bbq place and I’m so disappointed spent $33 and the food was barely warm not much flavor in the meats at all the only thing that saved it was the sweet baby rays they included. Also the potato’s I ordered tasted like they was made from a box. I’m so disappointed ☹️…

I have tried numerous things on the menu and all have been great. All of their meat is cooked to perfection. It is moist and has that great smoked flavor. I’m hoping to try one of their baked potatoes or brisket and noodles in the near future. 10/10 would recommend.

My new favorite place. My family loves the brisket, Mac n cheese, and green beans. Very nice people running it I’m glad I stopped in. They always give my daughter stickers and have a candy dish that she looks forward to. I highly recommend this place

Have tried brisket and noodles and Thursday potatoes. Perfect amount to fill you up. Yummy. Wonderful atmosphere since I finally got to go inside. Lots of Wonderful sweet and sides.
