Shadys is our go to. My husband visits this Shadys location frequently for the golf course. I visit frequently for the food and customer service. We have also ordered take-out from this location and have never been disappointed. It occasionally takes a little longer for food but it always comes out hot and as ordered.

Had some Street tacos (walleye) that were pretty tasty. I think they need to work on the slaw and sauce a bit though. Chicken strip basket is large and the fries are delicious. Price for quantity is great. Tap beers were good. The only thing that was a little ish was that salad bar. The lettuce was real sad and nothing was that chilled.

If you value decent service and food, font bother going here. For the first time in my life (50ish year) I left zero tip. We had 3 people eating with us that are or have been servers and they all agreed. Never have I had a service experience that literally failed at every level. Including a waitress that never even acknowledged it or apologized. Amazingly bad. we were there Sunday evening ( June 1st) , arrived at 5, please was maybe half full. Sat on screen porch area. Other tables that came after us, but seemed to maybe have ‘regulars’ received their food and drinks well before us and many more check ins.

Stopped in on a Friday around 5pm. The place was packed but we found a empty table and the bartender came to our table and took drink orders within the first minute or so. Food came out rather quickly for how busy it was. Food was great. This was our first visit to Shady’s and we will be back.

Last Sunday we had the absolute worst experience. Ordered wings and it took over an hour for them to get out to me. Server never apologized and made the excuse that they were “busy”. The inside of the restaurant was half empty. Once my food showed up it didn’t have the right sauce and was just plain wings and was cold. Love going boating on the chain and stopping by to eat. This service ruined my experience and I won’t be back.

If I could give the service 0 stars, I would. I’ve been to numerous other Shady’s and throughly enjoyed the drinks, food, and service. This visit to long shots (not my first) was really upsetting. We waited 40 minutes to get half of our food, the other half took longer, and all other tables around us (including one that sat down after we ordered) got their food, drinks, etc right away. We waited for water pitchers, drinks, and worst of all our food which was cold upon arrival. I’ve served previously in numerous restaurants and I would have NEVER treated customers as we were treated. Not a single sorry, not a single comment about late food or drinks, nothing. No remedy no apologies. The cherry on top to our unfortunate evening at Shadys Long Shots, we verbalized our frustration and the waitress still took 15 minutes to run our cards, making sure all the tables around us were happy and had everything they needed before allowing us to leave and get on with our night after the terrible service we encountered.
I’m sad I have to leave this review. But it was absolutely unacceptable service all around. This specific waitress needs to do better and learn how to treat customers.

We arrived at 6:30 and left at almost 8. It took forever for someone to come to the table, my husband had to ask for service! It was not busy! We did not order anything that would take any time to make! My son’s burger was black with a burnt bun. My chicken tacos had pre-sliced processed meat and my tots were cold. The chips were so salty my husband couldn’t eat them. The only good thing about this place is that it’s on the lake. I will not go back! I’d rather eat frozen pizza!
