Posh restaurant serving steakhouse fare in an earth-toned space at the Hilton resort.

The service was good, but the food seemed to be just a little off. The queso dip was cold, the chicken on the Caesar & cocktail shrimp were over cooked. The squash bisque was the one stand-out. The drinks are pricey, but definitely not weak.

Inside Hilton Sedona Resort, outside seating got good holiday decorations. Indoor seating is fairly simple. The food is okay but the prices are quite high (typical hotel restaurant pricing). We would rather eat at places in surrounding areas.

We tried ShadowRock for our anniversary dinner & I had it in the notes of our reservation. No mention of congratulations or thank you for dining with us. We were sat in a breakfast nook with office chairs for seats, service was all over the place. When we did see our waitress she was pleasant and informative but then she’d be gone for 10-20 minutes it’d seem like between our orders. The live music was battling with the music being played over the speakers & didn’t set a good mood or tone for our occasion. The food was not worth what we paid, we got the Little Gem Salad to start, it was really pretty and tasted good but wasn’t fantastic. Ordered the Prickly Pear margarita & the Mango cider both the drinks were good.
My main issue was with my NY strip that was supposed to be Medium Rare & was all kinds of different temps from end to end. The potatoes were bland & not creamy like I’d expect a chef curated menu, the meat was tough & burnt & I had to ask for extra chimichurri to add flavor to the tough meal.
My partner got the Pork Belly which was good, great sweet potatoes but the whole dish was very sweet with the chutney of apple & onions. Needed more flavor & spice for balance.
We didn’t bother with dessert since NOTHING was made in house.

Are you planning a visit to Sedona? If so, I highly recommend trying the Shadow Rock Tap + Table at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock.
This exceptional restaurant boasts a vibrant indoor and outdoor seating area, complete with a variety of amenities. The garden Porch is a must-visit, featuring a spacious outdoor garden with fire pits, water features, lawn games, and scenic seating.
We had the pleasure of dining there and indulged in the delectable Smoked Salmon with Cucumbers, Tomato, Avocado Spread, Hard Boiled Egg, Red Onion, Cream Cheese, and Toasted Bagel. The combination of flavors was simply amazing, and the taste was truly delightful.

Staff were nice. Food was overpriced and taste mid. Dinner options were limited. I wish they have tea/coffee and dessert.

What a great spot. We stopped in for lunch. We both had Margaritas and Noe was a fantastic server. I had a few margaritas as my wife ordered the chips, cheese and guacamole. For lunch I had the turkey bacon sandwich and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken. The ambiance is positive and the place is very clean.
Highly recommended

Overall I would rate about 3.8 out of 5.
Stayed here and had the avocado toast for breakfast with poached eggs. See photo. Eggs were cooked well a slightly runny poach, but I like it that way 5 out of 5. The greens were fresh and tasty, but the tomatoes stole the show. Very tasty tomato 5 out of 5. The cheese is on the side was a nice touch, but the avocado was lacking. Cold and hard ( not ripe ) Also, when I get avocado Toast, I prefer the avocado smashed a bit and on the toast. So only 3 out of 5. After all it is called “avocado”toast. Avocado needs to be ripe, not rock hard and room temperature (not chilled)
Atmosphere nice, service a bit slow, but friendly.

We stayed here for six nights, and the food was extremely disappointing for the price. As one example, I ordered a half soup and a mahi sandwich. While the soup was acceptable, the sandwich was not—the fish was overly salty and had a rubbery texture. I also ordered a salad, which was served cold straight from the refrigerator. Overall, the dining experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this place.

Terrible customer service!! We have been coming for the igloo dinner during the holiday season for the last several years and though the food was okay we continued to come for the igloo experience. Well this year they changed it. They now charge $75 just to have dinner in the igloo, on top of the dinner itself. Before you just had to hit a certain limit on food & drinks. I did not realize they charge a separate $75 fee when I made the reservation as I thought that that was the amount for food you needed to spend. They did not tell us when we got to the restaurant and only found out after eating. Unfortunately my husband paid the bill before we realized this additional fee. We had to leave promptly as we have a newborn that needed to go to bed. I called the next day to voice my concern about spending so much money for one dinner and the manager, Josh basically just tried to get me off the phone as soon as possible. He offered a feeble apology and a “I hope you enjoy the rest of your night.” I didn’t expect the $75 amount to be fully refunded as I realize I didn’t read it thoroughly (I have a newborn, I’m exhausted!) but anything would have been better than this. Absolutely terrible customer service. There are so many better restaurants to spend your money! Such a rip off for subpar food and horrible customer service from the manager specifically – the server was very attentive and nice. Be forewarned about the extra charge though because don’t expect them to tell you about it upon arrival!

One of our favorite hang out spots on our trip to Sedona. The food and drinks are good and the atmosphere is great! We really enjoyed the outdoor space and fire pits. They also have a great bar and lots of space in the restaurant area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to watch a game if you are looking for a good spot.
