We had my bridal shower here yesterday and everything went perfect! Ryan is an excellent coordinator. The planning process went so smoothly, she is fast and efficient with communication and answered any and all questions I had promptly! The day of, she checked on us to make sure everything was going well. The servers were on top of things and extremely helpful! The venue itself is so clean and beautiful it truly made my shower feel like it was my wedding day. I would recommend this place over and over again 🙂

I ordered a New York strip steak medium rare which was served medium rare. A friend also ordered a New York strip steak medium rare and got it well done. The temperature of the steaks served were room temperature which was an issue. The steaks had lots of gristle. They were served with 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes and 3 green beans. Portions of these 2 sides was tiny. We were here for a dinner reception. Servers roaming the room had chicken on skewers that were cold, dry and overcooked. The food was disappointing. The bar and drinks served were fantastic. My rating would be lower due to poor food quality, but the facility, outdoor areas and bar brought it up higher.

My husband and I decided to go to Shadow Lake & try their fish fry.We heard from a cpl friends that’s it’s the best in town. We were sat right away & greeted by our server Devin.Great atmosphere & the ambiance was on point!We ordered a cpl beverages & looked over the menu.We both ordered a fish fry with ff & coleslaw.We also both ordered a salad & a cup of soup, which we knew was not included & was willing to pay more…but unfortunately our server did not bring out either before our meal,a lil disappointing.Our fish fry’s came out rather quickly.You could tell one bite in that the beer battered on the fish was not cooked completely!!The beer batter was very doughy like pancake batter dripping out of the crust & the fish was so slimy & raw,not cooked at all,not even in the middle.The fish had like a clear appearance rather than white when fully cooked thru.We did not want to complain or make a scene being our first time there. Our server never came back one time to see how our dinner was and to see if we needed any refills on our drinks. Very disappointed at our experience, we have been there before for parties in school events and never any issues.Not a good experience at all & will not ever go back!!

A friend and I had a delicious lunch as we appreciated the beautiful view, rich with autumn color. I had the Granny Apple Chicken Salad and couldn’t resist an order of sweet potato fries. My friend had the fish fry. We both had the chocolate decadent cake. ALL DELICIOUS. Our server, Luke, was so efficient and especially friendly. Two women at the table next to us agreed — he added a special touch to our dining experience. We’ll be back.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding on 9/28/25. It was a wonderful day. Our wedding coordinator Ryan was so easy to work with and made the whole experience wonderful. The entire staff was great too. Delicious food too. Highly recommended for your special occasion. Thank you Shadow Lake.

They made the wrong menu. i didn’t notice on the invoice it said breakfast buffet vs brunch. So for $71/pp, we had omelettes with unlimited mimosa. Ryan was unprofessional about handling my request for 10% discount. This was a completely different menu- no chicken , salad , or pasta and only $5 less per person. And very importantly they need to CLEAN, the chairs, the bathroom sink, the pictures on the walls, and coffee carafes and signs.

We had our wedding in the clubhouse at Shadow Lake in November 2019. Let me just start out with it’s absolutely gorgeous here! We checked out the venue before it was even done with renovations and Ryan not only sold us on the place but on herself as coordinator. The food and drinks were excellent, and with all our family and friends, the size of the bar area was really great! We were overwhelmingly impressed with the entire staff. They were really attentive, helped us with any anything and did good setting everything up for us. Bonus was the discounts for the November ceremony and reception, but we probably would have had our wedding here no matter what.

An amazing venue for a wedding! We got married here in October and couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience! The whole team was amazing, everyone loved the food and service. We appreciated Ryan working with us with any questions along the way and also helping us on wedding day, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Shoutout to Ryan, Ivana and PJ!! Always willing to help us with anything and making the day run smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything besides enjoying our wedding day!! Also, It was so convenient being able to store our decor there a couple days before the wedding and the staff put everything up for us and took it down. As a bride, I felt at ease wedding day because of this amazing crew. She provided coffee and mimosas to me and my girls morning of getting ready. We were able to meet multiple times before wedding day to go over planning. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking!
