I’ve never seen spinach ramen before, and it’s soo worth the upgrade.
What I loved most is that you can tell this place is beloved by the community when almost everyone there are return customers.
If you’re around Chino, check it out and let me know what you think!
Thanks for reading! ^-^
On Tuesdays and Sundays, Shabu Wara offers an ALL YOU CAN EAT experience, if you choose to avail. They have a standard a la carte menu too. On our most recent visit, we went for the AYCE. There were 3 options – Basic ($69pp), Deluxe ($89pp), or Premium ($109pp). Take a look at the photos of each of the menus so you can see the differences between the 3 options. The deluxe and premium have the Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak, which is the appeal for those higher end options.
We went with the Deluxe option this time and were not disappointed. Here’s a breakdown of what we tried:
– Japanese A5 Wagyu Brisket
– Japanese A5 Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak
– Full Blood MB9+ Australian Wagyu Brisket
– Full Blood MB9+ Australian Wagyu Chuck Eye Steak
– American Wagyu Karubi
– Seafood platter (tiger shrimp, scallops, salmon, mussels)
Of these items, of course we loved the Japanese A5 options which just melted in our mouths, but our personal favorite was the Australian Wagyu Brisket! In fact, we’d probably come back just for that one. It’s not as fatty as the Japanese A5 options.
There’s plenty of parking where Shabu Wara is. We heard it gets super busy on weekends so maybe swing by for dinner on a weeknight. We’ve never had a wait and you can be right up in the bar area! Highly highly recommend!
We came here for lunch. It was the restaurant’s soft opening. They had a good menu already and served many popular appetizers like garlic edamame, takoyaki, fried chicken, soft shell crabs, etc.
Great soup base options: We chose spicy miso tonkotsu and regular tonkotsu as soup base. Flavorful and healthy. They had vegan options too.
Many entree options too: wagyu, different types of ribeye, kurobuta, lambs, seafood and veggies. And we ordered the regular but they had large and side order for smaller portion. Each entree order came with veggies and noodles. We also ordered the spinach ramen and Loved it. I especially loved then meat quality. It was really fresh, tender and juicy. I liked the size and thickness of the meat slice that it soaked up the flavor of the soup base but was a big piece and cooked within 10 seconds. We didn’t need sauce.
We checked in for free sake but we didn’t drink so they gave us mochi ice cream. But we also ordered the ice cream macaroons. It was a great lunch. We’d definitely go again for dinner or lunch.
This was such an amazing experience to eat shabu with Wagyu!! Not just any Wagyu!… Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian Wagyu and American Wagyu! I got the spicy tonkatsu broth and it was very flavorful. Everything from the sauces, veggies, noodles, and broth was very delicious! Don’t forget to try the sushi and appetizers! They were good too!
They have All You Can Eat Wagyu Tuesday and Sunday!
Don’t miss out on the $10 bottomless Sapporo on draft (with AYCE menu!! )
Came here with my son and had a great dinner. Loved the wagyu and the portions were perfect to leave us both totally satisfied. Highly recommend the soft shell crab and squid legs.
To start we ordered a pitcher of Sapporo and an appetizer of Spicy Tuna over crispy rice. Which is the one food item I do recommend! My friend does NOT eat raw seafood but said he couldn’t even taste the fish! He really liked it as well! And for dinner we had the spicy tonkotsu broth and forgot which protein we ordered! But either way I DO NOT recommend the hot pot as it was flavorless and very disappointing! We will not be back unfortunately. We have yet to find OUR spot for hotpot!
My daughter and I ordered the large premium beef toro this was plenty for us still left some food. The price was very affordable.
Great spot for Japanese Shabu! You can split your pot into two flavored broths. They also give you large veggies with rice!!
Flavors of the broth were good… i particularly liked the Spicy Miso and Pork Bone. Selection of meat isn’t particularly varied, but everything was served was really good (taste and thickness) of the meat was good so no complaints!
Overall a pretty good shabu experience!
