I got the vegetarian (creamy) with fried tofu, my date got tonkotsu with pork and cucumber salad. All of it was delicious and flavorful, generous portions and prompt service. Loved the sauce bar and the yuzu side car cocktail I ordered.

Fresh and quality ingredients, vegetables and an excellent sauce station. We loved all of their sauces and condiments. Great value for an AYCE experience at $40 per person. The meat was delicious, especially the American Wagyu beef. Service was fast and attentive as well. Will definitely visit again!

I’ve eaten in so many hotpot restaurants in the region and this is hands down one of the best, the service is top notch, the atmosphere is young and vibrant. Place is squeaky clean too. The broth is flavourful with plenty of choices for meat and sides. Highly recommend for an all-you-can-eat spot. Try the tom yum and miso broth, thank me later .

We visited Shabu Shack Sacramento on Christmas Eve (12/24/25), and it turned out to be a really pleasant experience.
The restaurant is kid-friendly, not crowded, and the service was absolutely top-notch. The atmosphere felt vibrant and welcoming, and the place was very clean — big plus!
We skipped the AYCE option this time and just ordered entrées, but we still left feeling full.
We tried the sukiyaki and tom yum soups, both of which were delicious — flavorful without being too heavy.
The wagyu was really nice as well, and we loved that they also have a sauce bar so you can customize everything.
Overall, this is a great spot for hot pot — relaxed, tasty, and very well run. We’ll definitely come back to try more next time!

Alex was an excellent server, very accommodating, kind, and patient with us, a group of newbies to hot pot. He explained everything very well and checked on us so many times, big shout out to Alex!
The food was great so many options, we had a ton of fun, good atmosphere, and all the staff are very nice. Would highly recommend, there is a parking garage next door which was very convenient too.

Stumbled across this place near our hotel. Didn’t expect the quality to be this good! It was AYCE when we went and the meat was sliced generously. Faith, our server, was unfortunately the only one handling a few tables for a little bit when it got busy but she handled it very professionally! The sauce bar was amazing as well and the ingredients felt fresh. Definitely would come back if I visit Sacramento again.
