Service was top notch. The broth here is the best compared to other places in my opinion. Not too salty and has a nice variety. The meat quality is good. We enjoyed it here a lot.
However, the menu felt limited for the price, especially compared to other AYCE places. This place is probably better for ordering a la carte, so we’d definitely come back for that but not for AYCE imo.
Also, I found the menu format can be a bit annoying. Never thought scrolling all the way up and down just to look at items can be such a pain lol.

This was my first hot pot experience and I was blown away! The broths were so flavorful, the meat and veggies were fresh. Heiden was an amazing waitress and she was very nice and helpful. She explained everything on the menu and provided suggestions. She recommended the spicy crab broth, AMAZING!! She encouraged us to try the chili cucumbers and they were amazing! It was a wonderful dinner and we will for sure be back!!!

Wow, I was blown away by the quality of the food. The crab and tonkotsu broth is delicious, and all of the veggies/meat is fresh. The fish balls were my favorite thing out of everything, highly recommend trying those. Cucumber salad is good too. However, the servers/service was very unprofessional. Servers were having conversations with each other in front of everyone, often cussing very loudly. Just seemed unprofessional. Food itself is great, service is mediocre.

Been coming here for years and tonight was definitely a let down. There’s better places in town and definitely better customer service. Imagine squishing two customers into one side of a booth for a customer who suffers from little man syndrome.
The mixed broth used to be amazing, now it’s mid.
And don’t get be started on customer service. Hired a bunch of girls who don’t know how to talk to anyone and the guy behind the bar always rude.
Pass.

Finally found a hot pot spot in Houston !
Rated everything a 5 star!
I’ve been to many hotpot / shabu spots and this is by far one of my most extremely delicious spot I’ve visited!
Customer service is extremely great, very attentive and satisfying; food and service were quick !
Food choices were excellent on this visit the way the meat was sliced and set also along with one of my favorite side sauces !!
This place is not too big but the set up is really nice! The choices are high table near the bar, booth, tables and the bar all have a set up for your hot pot !
Most definitely my go to spot!

With all the hotpot places in town it is tough to choose but I heard good things about here so wanted to try it before they close down! It is smaller than like shabu zone or en. Meat quality is good. No emoki mushroom. I like the instant noodles it reminded of mama noodles. The spicy gives good flavor. Because it’s not buffet style waiting between rounds felt long. Glad to have tried it and looking forward to their new restaurant!

Shabu^2 is hands down my favorite hotpot place in Houston. It’s the one place that I to go to whenever I’m craving higher quality hotpot. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad meal. It always hits.
Big shoutout to Rene, Michelle, Rachel, and company for making the experience that much better.

My friends and I used to come at least once a month and were really sad to hear it was going to be converted.. I don’t think it was a business play, but rather a business trying to adapt.
Service and food were as great as ever! Broths were delicious and the meat was a great quality. We all got the tier 2 and ate our weight in bavette, chop flap and fish balls. Vy was a wonderful server and helped us to nail the broths. 10/10.

This place is amazing The food was awesome it was more than we anticipated. The atmosphere was amazing as well. But our server Tony .who I understand is there on Fridays, Saturday nights and Sunday in the day time.(but I’m sure all of the staff is great, as well). But Tony made us feel as if we were at his home for dinner. If it’s your 1st time going please go and see Tony ,he explained everything and helped us through the process to the point we forgot it was are 1st time. We have already planned to make this Restaurant A place that we visit often.

Barely any seating, meat quality is basic compared to other places like Shabu En, and super expensive. I don’t understand the 4 and 5 star reviews unless people literally haven’t gone to other hot pot places (there are so many better than this one). Seems like the owners wanted to keep prices the same, but downgrade the menu options.
