– Tasty and authentic halal Pakistani/Indian food. Excellent naan and chicken karahi
– Nice and cleanly decorated ambiance
– Tea Time Anytime connected, can grab good chai and desserts
– Lots of space to host
Can Improve:
– Staffing, we went on a Tuesday night and they had one guy (felt bad for him) running the entire show (waiter, register, and tea spot) other than the cooks. He was nice and respectful but they need more people. Wait time was long, we had to seat ourselves, the customer experience just wasn’t there. If you market fine dining, please come through with that level of service.
– Portion sizes – competition in the Naperville area gives more meat
Otherwise, was a pleasant experience and should be returning again.

Chicken 65 tastes ok. I felt the dish had a lot of food coloring. We had Naan and kadai chicken curry. Naan was crispy and was not soft. They have excellent dessert selection especially the milk cakes/pastries.

Food was fantastic! The portions were good and the food was delicious. We got butter chicken and Chicken Tikka masala. We also each ordered an order of Butter Naan and had plenty to go around! First time trying the vegetable samosas and they were really good!

This was our first time of many more visits. Husband ordered the Chicken Biryani. I ordered a different chicken dish, can’t recall name but in an amazing tomato based sauce with the right punch of spice. Naan on the side completed our perfect meal.

First time here and I absolutely loved the chicken biryani! So aromatic and authentic Hyderabadi taste! The ambience is great and clean, service was quick and bonus :tea time/anytime next door. I got to try the Irani chai. Let me tell you.. I will make the 30 mile hike again for this sweet delicious tea!!

We have been waiting for authentic Hyderabadi Biryani for years in the Naperville, Lisle, Bolingbrook area. And I must tell u this is IT. Authentic, and delicious.
Their Biryani has the perfect Hyderabadi taste.
Not every restaurant can make Maarg. But Shaahi Bolingbrook knows the correct recipe. Their Maarg is VERY DELICIOUS by far the best one I’ve had in the entire chicago land.
The ambiance is very nice. LOVE the idea of having a combination of restaurant and coffee café together.
Service is good. The server who took our order was very polite and friendly.
On the whole it fits the name SHAAHI and fine Dinning.

Got takeout and had a ton of food in the bowl. I ordered the chicken biryani. Had to eat the rice on top before I could mix in the sauces that were provided which was fine because I still got a ton of food. Only issue I had was not knowing the chicken thighs were bone in. Would be nice to see that on the menu.

This is a serious warning to anyone considering ordering from Shahi Biryani in Bolingbrook. We had a party at our house just one mile away and ordered a large amount of food from them. We picked it up ourselves and came straight home, no delays. The moment we opened the pans, a strong spoiled and rotten smell came out. It was clear something was very wrong with the food.
We immediately called the restaurant to let them know, and the person who answered was extremely rude. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed us and said we must have done something to the food. When we asked to speak to the manager, he refused. We called again later and were told the manager would call us back but no one ever did. Even after several follow-ups, we were ignored.
When our bank finally contacted the restaurant, the manager (Mir) lied, saying we never called and even claimed we ate the food and just wanted a refund. This is completely false and shows how little honesty or accountability this restaurant has.
The most concerning part is the food safety issue. The smell and condition of the food made it clear it had been left out for hours or mixed with old batches a clear case of cross-contamination. This is not just bad service; it’s dangerous. Serving spoiled food can make people seriously sick, especially children or the elderly.
No one deserves to be treated this way, and no restaurant should get away with serving food that could be potentially deadly. I strongly urge everyone to be cautious and think twice before ordering from this place.
