Had the chicken roast with polao, beef, and vegetables — everything was a solid 10/10. I’m not from Binghamton, but I have to say, the locals are lucky to have such a true Bangladeshi gem when it comes to authentic flavor. The owners are genuinely kind people — you can tell that from just a simple hello.
P.S. Don’t miss their snacks, especially the samosa and chicken roll — that roll took me straight back to Dhaka, just like the classic pantharas from Coopers and other old-school shops

Last Friday, my family along with a few friends’ families visited this restaurant, and we truly enjoyed their warm hospitality, food, and service. The dishes were authentic Bangladeshi cuisine — full of flavor and absolutely delicious.
We had a wonderful time together and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for genuine Bangladeshi food and great service.

Horrible customer services, I don’t know how it’s getting 4 point sometimes rating. They are busy with catering but dine customers they don’t care. They should close dine then only do catering that’s make sense. Never visit again that restaurant. Please avoid that place if you are quick go and out

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Shaad. This was honestly the worst Bengali food I’ve ever had. The Halim was tasteless, first they served it cold. They should have give better service and quality of food based on the competition on next door or the quality we get in NYC. Since they opened it new I expected better. Even the shop representation from outside was very poor. It looked like a saloon! The Roti and Paratha arrived with no proper taste, like it had been microwaved.
Honestly service was even worse than the food.
For the prices they charge, I expected so much more. It was a waste of money, and I left feeling frustrated and still hungry. I would never recommend this place to anyone and would advise others to stay far away from this restaurant.

I recently visited SWAD, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that truly stood out. The service was wonderful—attentive, warm, and welcoming. And to top it all off, the prices were very affordable, making it a great value for such high-quality dining. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to visit again!
