The service was the best thing about the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and helpful although service was a little slow for lunch considering there was only one other table of two there.
The atmosphere is nothing special. It’s a rather large place so you don’t get an intimate feel. The decor seemed dark and dated to me. If you want a nice special occasion meal this is really not the place in my opinion.
From the moment you walk in, the impeccable service sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in ensuring that every detail of your dining experience is perfect.
The food at 7 Oaks is nothing short of extraordinary. We started with the calamari and crabcakes, both of which were absolutely perfect. The calamari was tender with a crisp, light batter, and the crabcakes were bursting with fresh, rich flavor.
For the main course, the New York strip was everything you could want in a steak—flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The duck, which can be tricky to get just right, was expertly prepared and melted in the mouth with every bite.
The cocktails at 7 Oaks are equally impressive. They are classy and unique, with a touch of creativity that makes them stand out from the usual fare. And for dessert, the peach cobbler cigars were a delightful and unexpected treat, providing the perfect sweet finish to an exceptional meal.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night or a gathering with friends, 7 Oaks is the place to be. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough—it truly is the gem that Conway has been waiting for.

I’m pretty sure this is the best Arkansas has to offer and I don’t have to drive to Little Rock or Northwest Arkansas, lol or fly to Chicago!!
Reader’s digest version:
Party of 4, seated @ 7:00
They were out of 4 of the items ordered… ok… kept ordering until we hit things they DID have.
After many apologies from the manager(?) and one visit from the owner, the food arrived @ 9:00, with one of the orders incorrect (this customer left & went to Mike’s Place & had food & drink in less than 5 minutes). We remaining 3 customers, because by then, had finally lost our appetites, had a few bites of mediocre food (ok, it was not that great at all). We paid for our bottle of wine and left.
Takes the gold medal for the worst dining experience ever.
By the way, dress code? “Manager” & “owner” were not in dress code.
We had the beef carpaccio for an app, along with their bread basket. I had the seabass with some scallops and he had the lamb. We were so torn because everything looked good! We got the creme brulee for dessert too. Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well!
We plan on going back very soon!
The New York Strip I had was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Cooked perfectly, and the seasoning…outstanding! My wife had salmon, which was very good, but she felt it could have used more seasoning. I tasted a bite and I’m not sure if it was seasoned at all, but it was not bad. Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix! The sides were all very good, but I do think they lacked enough seasoning as well. In short, the serving sizes and quality of food was very good. Perhaps just a bit more attention to seasoning and I would say they were not good, but great!
We ordered a crème brûlée to split because we were so full! Because it was our anniversary, it was on the house! It’s also the only thing I managed to get a photo of…
I am not accustomed to spending what we did on a meal, but I was prepared to for our special occasion and it was money well-spent! The ambience, dress code, and quality of food and service is something Conway doesn’t deserve, but I’m glad we have! Many won’t appreciate it, but it was a welcome change from casual dining. We will return as often as possible for special occasions.
We decided to go out for a date night and give Conways new “Fine Dining” option a try so we made a 6:30 reservation. The restaurant is pretty and has a nice atmosphere but that was the best part unfortunately.
Aside from the most awkward ordering experience I’ve ever been a part of. We got through it ordering their “Local bread basket” which was cold, sliced sandwich bread and olive oil. Ok…
For some reason we had to order all of our sides, apps, and mains all at once and I knew immediately that would be a problem to come… wife order a house with ranch, and was excited to try the French onion soup, I got the wedge salad. After that we order the mid rare 22oz porterhouse, smoked Gouda Mac (only decent warm thing), and Pom frites wife ordered a “Bone in Ribeye” mashed potatoes, and seasonal mushroom mix.
Ok taste wise the food was ok. It was the presentation and the food not matching what we ordered for me.
My steak was raw, hers wasn’t a bone in ribeye and both resembled what you’d get at western sizzlin’ for $65 each you’d think it would matter a little.
My wife’s mashed potatoes where covered in red collagen from the steak, her French onion soup was cold and came with the food instead of the salads and starters, and her $10 seasonal mushroom mix was a mess of greasy undercooked baby bellas.
My steak was fricking raw dude, raw in the middle. Should I have checked the steak? I guess so, but when you go to a joint with a dress code and $65 meat there’s a certain expectation. Idk maybe my standards are too high. My steak was cold within 30 seconds of hitting the table.
So we did what the normal courteous customer does when out for a nice evening. We politely asked for the manager who left us sitting there for 10 minutes like idiots not eating, just waiting. I figured “surely this guy is going to take care of this for us.” Well yes and no… we got excuses for why the steaks sucked, excuses for the cold food and a bill for $77.32 for 2 cocktails, 2 salads, and no mains.
Needless to say now I’m writing this review form a booth at Mike’s Place finally getting good service and great food.
What a shame…. I’m a small business owner myself and hold a much higher customer service standard, my name is Roy Summers and I’m not hard to find if anyone at this establishment wants to try to make this right…
