What a cool bar. A month ago my friend, partner and I had lunch here then came back in the evening for dinner with my family.
Staff here were friendly and it was such a cool bar and experience coming from Australia.

Stopped in for some dinner and drinks for the night. Place is clean and bar tender was nice but not very talkative. We ordered drink then food which took about 45 minutes to get. Bartender didn’t really check in on us or let us know the status of our food. The burger was very greasy and fries were all cooked into a blob I had to break apart. Overall not terrible but a little bit underwhelmed. Be prepared to pay $$$

Stopped for dinner while traveling. Had the Ribeye with an Idaho baker and the Black and Blue Burger with fries. Both were great. French fries were quite tasty. Had a few beers as well. Service was good. Place was busy. It’s is a rustic place inside.

It seems like the only person working here is the bartender girl. After 30min we ordered our drinks from the bar. Flagged the waitress to place food order and waited another 45min plus for it to arrive. The burger was good, but do not order the pot roast dinner (see picture). Two hours of waiting for nothing. Will not be back.

Nice restaurant with saloon style decor. Comfortable seating and clean restrooms. This place touts a full bar with half a dozen craft beers on tap. There is plenty of comfortable seating.
The squeeze and i split the finger steaks with an onion ring upgrade. A little gristle in one piece, but it’s hard to find finger steaks without that. Good breading with a nice mix of spices. The onion rings were great, no pull out of the onion. This was pleny of food for two as a quick lunch. We just had water to drink, and they gave us our own pitcher.
Service was great, and the server/waitress/bartender was really friendly. She filled my cold cup with a coke so I didn’t have to stop at a gas station before leaving town.
There are so many places to eat on the main drag, and I am glad we chose this one. Winner, winner, fingersteak dinner.

If you are looking for delicious steak in a real throwback atmosphere, look no further. Excellent service. Quite loud at the bar when we were there. Also has live music. Only drawback for us was a back room for pool if door is open allows cigarette smoke to fill restaurant. Waitress did go close the door at our request. Reasonable prices and excellent steak in a quaint town.

Someone from town suggested we try out this restaurant and I’m so glad they did. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were very few people in there but we were greeted by Kim, the bartender, right away and were told to sit wherever we’d like. We sat next to the pellet stove just for the warmth. Aside from the blinds being rather dirty, the rest of the place was surprisingly clean for a bar. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they came out quickly. The menu has quite a few options, but the prices did seem a bit high IMO. (The mozzarella sticks were not worth $10 but they tasted good) They did have a great deal called the BFD (burger, fries, drink) for $8.95. I ordered that and it was very good. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich and added bacon to it. All in all it was a great experience and we left full and happy. Kim was wonderful and attentive even despite running the place by herself. We would definitely stop there again next time we’re passing through town.

The atmosphere was most disappointing. They have a separate smoking area but is was clear that the HVAC was all connected… so you may want to steer clear if you don’t enjoy a smoke with your meal. The other patrons were loud and very free with profanity.

We must have went on a bad night. A really bad night. We had never been there before and it is definitely more “loud bar” than “steakhouse”. We both ordered the 8 oz ribeye. You get a salad and one side for $28. My daughter asked for tater tots and they don’t serve them anymore. I chose a loaded baked potato. We both ordered our steaks medium. It took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive and we still hadn’t received our salads. We also didn’t have any silverware. I snapped the first pic while waiting. After waiting for 5 minutes I got up and looked for silverware myself. I found some plastic silverware on a shelf next to the bar. The steak was raw. As in blue rare, raw. You can see from the picture while it’s untouched on the plate that is was RARE. Cold, uncooked middle. The second picture of the piece on the fork is AFTER sending them back to be cooked more. It was not edible. I tried to chew a couple bites in various places but it gristle and I couldn’t even swallow it. My “loaded baked potato was cold by the time they brought the steaks out a second time. The third picture is what I left on the plate. My entire steak. It’s unfortunate because we drove five hours and we were starving. We ended up walking across the street to the grocery store to get something to eat after our $65 dinner. For what’s it’s worth, my daughter liked her side salad.

That fried chicken sandwich I had there, had to be the best I have ever eaten. The breast fillet was crispy and moist and so large 2 people could split it and be satisfied. It’s seved with either French fries or sweet potatoes fries. I opted out on those but the stuck a little bag of crisps in my basket. On the side was lettuce pickles, onion and 4 sauces ..honey mustard, spicy mayo, Chipotle mayo and BBQ. You get all 4 in a tote to your table. All this and a spicy virgin bloody Mary for $18.88. And that included a 20% tip. My waitress was very sweet and attentive. I love this bar/grill and I definitely will eat there again next time I’m in BEAUTIFUL RIGGINS ID….my favorite vacation spot.
