I’ve now eaten four meals here and have thoroughly enjoyed each of them. I’ve had an egg, veggie sausage and cheddar breakfast wrap with rosemary potatoes, tofu pad Thai, a vegetable pot pie of sorts, and a black bean burger with yam fries. I’ve also tried the house corn on the cob, Gouda tots, and general Tao’s cauliflower for appetizers. And last but not least, I’ve had the tiramisu, chocolate cheesecake, and raspberry pie for desserts. Compliments to the owners and chefs, and specifically Stasia and Sharon for being amazing hosts as I dined in. I honestly wish the Toledo area had places like this but they just don’t make it there sadly. So, I opted in the last few years to venture outward and find places that would satisfy this pescatarian and Seva now ranks among the best for me. Thank you again Seva!

Update: 2/11/25 – I’ve now dined here 10 times and had an amazing experience overall. Add Ben, Griffin, and Rachel to the list of staff I’ve gotten to know and other staff I am sorry I can’t seem to remember all your names. Each of you are worth mentioning as I feel like I’m having a home cooked experience here each time with you as my friends providing my meals! Thank you!

Amazing location! Was able to take my vegetarian mother and grandmother here and we had a great meal, good vibes, nice and quiet able to talk catch up as a family and they are service dog friendly! Can’t ask for much more than that in Ann Arbor. Oddly enough kind of hard to finda spot like this in Ann Arbor coming from Washington DC where we have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Grateful and thankful, 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

I RARELY leave google reviews, but after this experience, I must leave Ann Arbor with this review as my legacy.

This is EASILY the best vegetarian restaurant in town. For the past two years, I’ve been trusting the “best of Ann Arbor” food review articles to tell me where to take family/friends visiting and only getting the downtown and/or tourist-y spots. But a vegetarian family member was visiting and I learned that Seva was the place to go and conveniently right by my apartment.

So disappointed that I hadn’t come here sooner and now I am leaving??? Tragic.

Get the pad thai, the mac and cheese, a sandwich…honestly, I tried everything my table ordered and I can confidently say that you could probably get anything on this menu and it would be delicious. Plus being surrounded by gorgeous live plants and cozy lighting? And mocktails that aren’t the same price as a cocktail????? I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Service was incredible too; I wish I had remembered our server’s name, but she recommended me a delicious wine that was the closest thing to what I wanted but wasn’t on the menu. Thank you Seva — I only wish we had met sooner!

Taahirah was our server. My sister and her husband had had her before. She’s very pleasant and very conscientious. The ambience is beautiful lots of live plants. In fact the front area in the big windows that face the outs are so full of plants. I didn’t realize it was a restaurant!!!
Hopefully, that was just me as I would hate to think anybody else wouldn’t see it and therefore wouldn’t have a meal there.
We shared an appetizer that was bruschetta -I was advised it was the best ever and indeed it was. The garlic crisp bread with hummus, and very finally chopped black olives pico de gallo it was just incredibly good all of it. I would order it again in a heartbeat as my meal!
We all had something different. My sister enjoyed the taco salad, which is her go to there. It looked delicious but yet so healthy. My brother-in-law had enchiladas made with sweet potato frankly I’ve never had a vegetarian menu that was so diverse.!!!
I had a Italian pizza sandwich. It had delicious pizza sauce with fresh mozzarella, fresh basil all on a delicious grilled sourdough bread.
We were all too far for dessert, but will have to try it next time. I am able to get there. It will definitely be a go to when I’m in A2!!!!!!

It isnt right how far we live from this restaurant. This meal is one of the best I have had in a long time. My wife is vegetarian, and we live in rural Michigan so she doesn’t get as many options up there. The food here is amazing, the service is professional and welcoming, and the environment is also very welcoming. Give this place a try. I say this as someone who loves good food, and still eats meat. Great place. 5 stars easily.

My friend and I dined in prior to UM hockey game. The atmosphere was comfortably relaxed and inviting. Service was prompt and attentive. Dinner? Absolutely delicious. We shared General Tso’s cauliflower appetizer. Our main meal was the TLT and the Tempeh Reuben. I greatly appreciate all the vegan options across the menu. It was so hard to make a choice. We will definitely visit again to try everything else on the menu.

This is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. I had mac and cheese with garlic bread and parsnip chowder. It was all pretty bland. The chowder was good, but needed some spice. Nothing special.

Amazing vegan restaurant in Ann Arbor.
Service is quick and friendly, with ample of parking space. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth trying. Don’t miss out their cilantro peanut stir fry. It’s one of the unique dishes I have tried in a very long time.
Their cakes are good too. We tried the chocolate chai cake, and it was amazing. Enchiladas can be skipped. Quantity is great for any food items

Seva is a staple for our family. We usually watch the specials because some are especially delicious. Service is fast and we feel healthier eating here than a lot of places.
