Very cozy restaurant with a great atmosphere. The meatballs were very tender and juicy. The tomato sauce was incredible. The steak tartare was very high quality. The pasta had a very strong seafood flavor. The desserts were delicious. thanks for the experience

Good food, attentive service, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
The prices are a bit on the high side (they even charge €2 per person for cutlery…which was unusual to me, though it may be cultural), but overall it’s worth it. i paid $20 total for my dish (gnocchi) and wine which is fine.
If you can afford it, I’d definitely recommend coming here. And I should add: it was the best pesto I’ve ever tasted.

A truly amazing place to eat. It was a great experience! We had reservations for 19:30, but we arrived early at 19:00 and they allowed us to sit at a table outside to wait for them to finish setting up. I do recommend making reservations, as they fill up quickly after opening and you’ll be waiting for a table. The service was perfect, the food was all delicious, the meatball sampler plates were a ton of fun and delicious. The local Fassona beef meatballs were my favorite, but the “BBQ ribs” meatballs were a fun surprise as well! The pesto lasagna was creamy and decadent, and the gnocchi with pesto was fresh and addicting. It was about €75 for two adults, with drinks, antipasti, and primi. I can’t recommend this place enough, truly a 5-star experience!

Really nice place. We came back to try different dishes. First time we had gniocchi with pesto and meatballs, refreshing & sweet apple juice. Second time we had really tasty Meatballs mix and meatballs with tomato sauce, two glasses of wine and delicious dessert (chocolate pear volcano is the best dessert I’ve had in a looong time). Service and the atmosphere are top notch. There’s plenty of options to choose from.

As you enter the place you are welcomed by a familiar and cozy atmosphere. The walls are made of stone, which gives the restaurant a vintage and traditional look, and there are just a few tables.
Overall, dining at Settepolpette was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable experience.” “My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. I recommend getting a reservation to ensure you can get a table. There was a lineup at the door when they opened tonight.

We came 2 years ago and had amazing memories from this place, so we tried again today for a birthday and it was as good as we all remember. Small handmade meatball have all different tastes and flavors, meat, fish or vegetarian options, really worth the price and the waiting. Even if the service wasn’t the fastest and the place can be loud, it’s 100% worth it and simply one of the best place I ever ate in the country!!
Shout-out to the lovely staff for the birthday attention and the friendliness!!

I ordered some gnocchi with pesto and the dish was simply amazing. As someone who is fond of Italian cuisine, eats and sometimes makes pesto, I can tell you that this place is worth your hard earned cash. The service was also amazing and friendly, even though we came in a bit late. The place itself looks lovely, although some would call it a bit cramped. Personally, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you are visiting Genoa this is the place to stop by.

Highly recommended restaurant in Genoa. Unfortunately kind of disappointing. We got the Lasagna al Pesto Artigianale and Settepolpette balls Mixed Plate. The meatballs were very cold and kind of tasteless. Lasagna was good though. Not worth the hype IMO.
