I highly recommend Setauket Gourmet Deli! Not only is their food (in-person and catering) delicious and fresh, but the staff and owners are incredibly kind and honest. I accidentally left my purse/wallet at one of their tables The owner (Lyn) held onto it for over 24 hours and went out of her way to find me. She looked extensively online until she found me and immediately contacted me when she did. When I got there to claim my purse, she and her staff were incredibly kind and generous to me and my 3 little children. It felt like we were with family! What can I say, let’s give them as much business as we can! I am so grateful

I drive Lyft and stop at many different places for food in my travels. I ordered the Healthy Breakfast Wrap and it was outstanding. The employees were friendly as well. I highly recommend and will keep this place in mind for when I am in the area.

I have been ordering from Setauket Gourmet since it opened. Tried to support the current owner for years. During the summer months placed weekly orders to entertain my guests on family boat and had them cater every event I had during all my festivities. They have managed to burnt my sandwiches, provided cold food meant to be hot and are very inconsistent with catering services, they were late on my orders, orders were incorrect and so on for years. Not once did they apologize, try to offer a discount or contact me on my numerous complaints to employees, catering crew and owner to remedy the issues. It was the fault of the intoxicated catering manager, the broken toaster, the new or old employees, etc. I like supporting my local businesses, avoid this one, they don’t have any respect for the customers. Some employees are very nice.

Portions and prices are more reasonable than across the street. Love their different bowls they make. Sandwiches are always on point. A lot of cool and unique products on display as well. Also, Love getting their Fried chicken + Fries catering platter (gotta order early in the AM or the day before though). Cool catering promos for events (tailgating/superbowl/holidays/communions/baptisms/etc). Great staff! Ty for serving our community!!

I absolutely recommend Setauket Gourmet to cater your next party. We did the Wings and Things barbecue package. The food was excellent and my guest really enjoyed fresh cooked burgers and dogs, as well as, all the sides. Debbie and Bert were great. They set up and cleaned and made sure everything was perfect. They even offered to wrap up the leftovers for me. ❤️

Very courteous staff,good sense of humor, and pay attention to what you ordered. Not always the case in deli’s. I must admit I’m always cautious when the word gourmet is used in the name of a business (pricing), not the case here! Very reasonably priced, top quality sandwiches, excellent presentation that tastes as good as it looks!! Really what more could you ask for
