Definelty more of a taco joint than Mexican- The food was okay, but it was lacking something. Especially for the price. I won’t lie its not my favorite Mexican place.
Service was good, our waitress was very nice and accommodating, seating has a lot of variety between booths, half booths, tables, and higher tables.

In terms of accessibility they have a ramp at the entrance which is nice, but doorways seemed a bit narrow? Pretty standard overall.

I will say, they definetly had a variety of Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options.

If you’re looking for genuine mexican food and tastes, I would not reccomend. But it is a fun looking place with decent tacos. More on the pricey side as well.

We were traveling from Dallas, Texas and stopped in for some lunch! The food was really good. The weather was great and the doors were open with a breeze coming in! Everything’s really well seasoned and even a bit spicy! The salsa’s are fire roasted and so tasty! The Asada Taco was amazing! Certainly worth a visit if you’re traveling through. I do recommend it!

A great space, great food, and great staff and service. Our first Mission Taco experience was at the Soulard location and we had a fantastic time and meal. I highly recommend the BLT taco, one of a kind and delicious. The space is quite large and we didn’t expect that from the outside. Very friendly staff who enjoy their workplace.

Chill vibe and looks like it would be fun in the later evenings. The food presentation was fantastic, everything looked like a million bucks. The street corn is fire, followed by the lime rice, and oh my gosh, the black beans are amazing—they are refried. However, the tacos we ordered seemed under-flavored and were missing something. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great, but I think the tacos could be improved with some feedback. Overall, it’s a great spot, but the tacos need a bit more punch to match the quality of the other dishes.

Now, let me break it down. The ambiance? Spot on. It’s got that relaxed, inviting feel that makes you want to hang around, especially as the night progresses. The plating? Absolutely stunning. Every dish looked like it was prepared for a photo shoot—pure culinary artistry. The street corn? Explosive flavors, an absolute triumph. The lime rice was a brilliant accompaniment, light, and zesty. And those refried black beans? Creamy, rich, simply superb.

But here’s the kicker: the tacos. They’re the stars of the show, and they fell flat. Under-seasoned, lacking that bold, vibrant taste you’d expect. It felt like they were holding back. You have the foundation of greatness, but the tacos need that extra oomph. Maybe a touch more spice, a hint of citrus, something to elevate them to the next level. Don’t let this potential go to waste—get those tacos right, and you’ll have a real winner on your hands.

This place used to be amazing prior to covid and during the pandemic. I went last year and everything about what made this restaurant great had changed!! Chips are now very hard, and the salsas are not yummy anymore. The salsa doesn’t have any flavor and isn’t unique. The margaritas just taste like alcohol and have no flavor either. Tacos were bland and very small. I’m so sad that this place has gone downhill. I think maybe they expanded too quickly and the food quality took the hit. It’s just gotten too expensive and not worth the money to return. I’m hoping management will see this and make some changes so that the food tastes good like it used to pre-pandemic!!

Wonderful Mexican place, we were passing through and picked up food to go and I wish we had time to sit and enjoy the meal there. Restroom was spacious and comfortable, matched the place character.

Chicken tacos were amazing, great quality meat, delicious taste and well presented. The burrito was good too but the tacos were just so good. Definitely a stop if we’re back in town.

Delicious! Tried three different tacos and I gotta say it was hard to decide on a favorite. Definitely a great spot to enjoy some Mexican cuisine in STL. Staff were friendly, attentive and their location is convenient. Definitely want to go back.

We came in on a Saturday and our service from Markelle D was absolutely fantastic! We had a party of 9 and he was efficient, got our order right, and had a great personality.

The food was equally as amazing and so flavorful. I loved that any taco could be made vegetarian

One concern, I was told upon being seated that our check would include gratuity because of our table size. I got home and put our receipt away and do not see gratuity on our check. I am now questioning if it was added or not? Check 137 is my receipt number. Please send my sincere apologies if not. And also stress the importance of servers, not greeters sharing the gratuity rule to be sure it is applicable. We had multiple checks and wonder if this caused issues.

I love their fish tacos & shrimp tacos so much! The mango habanero salsa is to die for!!! Very flavorful but not too hot. We do a pick up order at least once a month at my work.
