This place is home cooked food perfection! Adorable restaurant. Family heritage feel good environment. Some of the best hummus you will ever have! I’ve literally taken trips from California, Tennessee and New Jersey just to stop by Sesame Seed!

This is my favorite go-to restaurant! The food and service are outstanding! The hummus, sesame seed salads, falafel, etc.. are all so delicious! I highly recommend Sesame Seed! Heather is very friendly, always willling to accommodate any order!

I’ve loved all the chicken dishes including Chicken Portobello and Chicken Elon Musk. They make the best hummus on planet Earth, hands down. Awesome tabouli and the pita is from a local Danbury bakery.
Since the pandemic in 2020 they no longer serve in the restaurant, but their takeout is too die for.

I moved out of state but everytime I visit Danbury I make sure to order sesame! The take out gets home too hot to eat, the flavors are delicious and the food is fresh. The hummus and pita are the best around!

Really had an amazing time choosing to go out to dinner here last night. I haven’t been here in a couple years, however the food is still as delicious as I remember— if not better. The atmosphere is definitely relaxed, so do NOT come here if you are in a rush.
Heather was such an amazing host, and served us while we were there. I was truly impressed how she is to her customers, even though she had so many orders to complete all on her own. I highly recommend Sesame Seed for its delicious food as well as inviting and cozy environment! If you’re looking for outstanding (healthier food) choice & a friendly environment to eat, doesn’t break the bank, you’ve found the right spot.
