I ordered a Saigonese banh mi. It was okay, but for $17 I expect phenomenal. The meat was kind of bland and there was way too much pâté. I was super messy and hard to eat. I guess I will stick to getting my banh mi from the shops on Federal. I was really hoping this place would be great. The prices are way too high for what you get.

Delicious!! The vegetarian options are so yummy (both the tofu and plant-based meatballs) and I’m told the meats are just as good. Everything tastes so fresh. I got the tofu bowl but have had the sandwiches too. The service is great and such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a small space, but perfect for to-go or smaller groups.

I got the lemongrass chicken banh mi, and it was SO good! I can’t wait to go back and try the pork banh mi. Veggie egg rolls were also delicious. The food was ready quickly and the service was friendly as well. So glad to have this place in neighborhood!

It’s easily my favorite banh mi in Denver. All the staple banh mi shops in Denver use bread that tastes so stale and the ingredients taste old. But at Sesame the bread texture was fantastic, the ingredients were fresh and actually flavorful. And they don’t skimp on the filling. it was a saucy sandwich, just how I like them. Will definitely be back. It’s way better than the you know who’s of the popular Denver banh mi shops

my bf and I discovered this place a month ago and we’ve been back 10 times since. it hits every single time! between the service, quality and price, it’s unmatched. We havnt tried the full menu but the Tofu Banh mi and Tuna Bahn Mi are both fantastic. We aren’t vegan or veg but the tofu one is a must order every time. the fresh pickled veggies, cilantro, and fresh quality bread bring this sandwich to another level. the price for this quality is amazing and keeps us coming back! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee IS PERFECT. That’s what we originally came for, to try that and ended up getting sandwiches and discovered our new favorite place for a quick meal.

Sooo good! We love this neighborhood spot. I wish they used tamari rather than soy sauce to make some more things gluten free but they were able to accommodate me well with a yummy pork bowl with a spicy mayo.
