I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice in one weekend thru door dash. It was that good! Their kimchee is the best I’ve ever had. The two dinners I had each came with a side of kimche, rice and Cole slaw. All are very nice extras. Today I ordered tofu kimchee and added meat to it but it didn’t need the meat because the tofu paired perfectly with the kimchee. I also had the kimchee pancake which seems to me the ultimate comfort food. Whenever in Santa Cruz, this is my new go-to place for delicious and healthy food.

Good spot.for Korean comfort food. The service was attentive and food was good. Decent assortment of tasty banchan. We ordered the seafood ramen and the beef hot stone bibimbop. Would go again.

Had a fantastic dinner with hubs. Had bulgogi and bibimpab. The flavor and meat were delicious! I loved the kimchi the taste was fresh. This was the best Korean food we’ve tasted. Service was nice and friendly and very helpful with the menu. Would come here again! Next time we visit Santa Cruz! Thank u again!

The Korean food is not authentic at all. The bulgogi beef tastes funny. The beef is mushy and the dish contains a lot of water. I guess the beef was frozen previously. We returned the dish and the boss is very unhappy. He stared at us when we paid although I still gave them 15% tip.

I ordered bibimbap, but the seasoned vegetables had a strong sour/off smell. The vegetables didn’t seem fresh at all.

Definitely recommend! Came for dinner recently and had a dol sot bibimbap (HOT stone pot, great texture, super tasty), kimchi/mushroom sundubu (spicy soft tofu soup; almost as good as my mom’s), and Korean fried chicken (big wings, super crispy and juicy, but not seasoned – dipped them in gojuchujang sauce).

Seems to be family-owned and operated (a team of 2 ran the entire restaurant brilliantly when we dined there). Service was quick, friendly, and super sweet – also anticipating our needs before we could ask (keeping waters refilled, extra bowls, napkins, etc.). Menu prices are very reasonable and on the affordable side. This will 100% become part of my regular rotation!

Located inside a small strip mall with a Japanese sushi and noodle place, parking is limited but there’s ample street parking.

The side dishes are limited but tasteful. Our order was quick.. too quicky. The seafood pancake needed a few more minutes to get the nice crispy texture (ours came soft and we could still taste the batter). The Beef Short Rib was missing the burn marks on the hot iron platter and could’ve used a few more minutes on the grill as the fat wasn’t fully rendered.

The single waiter was friendly but like us he was sweating from the heat as it appears the place lacks A/C or it wasn’t on. For a quick Korean fix, this place will do, but please know that customer don’t mind and we understand waiting a few extra minutes for great tasting food.

Delicious, Inclusive, Friendly! I ordered the vegan-friendly Soon tofu soup with kimchi and mushrooms and it was a bomb (comes with rice)!!! My husband loved his crispy stone bibimbap with tofu and no egg! Banchan (side dishes) are complimentary and were refilled for us too (beware one of them is fish cakes). Other plant-based dishes offered too. If you prefer mild spicy level ask ahead of time. You can buy kimchi and other side dishes to take home!

Food was not fresh, noodles are instant, waiter was rude and tried to impose us a pricier choice than we had, « forgot to remove » a meal that we had canceled, and ended up including a mandatory service (20%! for an already expensive for what it is meal) charge while expecting a tip. Would not recommend unless you want to pay up of 20 bucks for a Trader Joe’s level food.
