What a gem!!! I am so thrilled a friend just introduced me to this place! I spent way more than I was anticipating, but it was completely worth it. Complete transparency, I thought that tomato pie was kind of a crock until I had their tomato pie. I can’t stop eating it, packed with garlic and just so so good!! I also got cannolis, napoleon, fresh bread and torrone. I will definitely be back to get more of all.

The staff was so incredibly welcoming, patient and friendly. Just a perfect experience!!!

I’m going to try and be nice as possible, I know serpes I’ve purchased so many products or should I say delicious things, but today, wasn’t a great experience for me I expect delicious food delicious encounters and delicious experiences, did not feel that today, I felt like I was rushed to get my order put in and I didn’t know what I wanted I went in there today for someone’s birthday and wanted to get a couple different things, the negativity and I mean the negativity that the woman behind the counter almost wanted me to put everything back and say I don’t want anything, I’ll go somewhere else to get it even though I know your product is good, don’t know if she was mama serpy grandma serpy or just someone you shouldn’t have in there, came close to canceling my 30 $40 order! They got great food great stuff but not a good experience today, don’t know if I’ll go back! One to five Stars I give it a 1.1 today not even a two full star! And I was the only person in there, young kid came out tried to help but still not good enough! A little disappointing after dropping all that money for good food but needs to be a little bit better up front!

Old school bakery with a myriad of options to choose from. Visited late morning on the Thursday after Christmas with no line and no wait, though there were still other customers there. So many baked goods to choose from! I went with the cream puffs. 4 for $8 not too bad. The cream puffs themselves were a bit softer than what I would’ve liked. I will go back and try something else next time.

Serpes is the best. Delicious tomato pie, Stromboli’s and fresh rolls. Love the cookie selection and freshness of everything on-site. I came in to pick up an order. I had my baby with me and the very kind man who helped me offered to bring my items to my car (in the cold!) since my hands were already full. I appreciated that so much. His name was Derek. Thank you, Derek! I appreciate you!

I get my tomato pies from here often, they are great! We bought a pepperoni bread and spinach and cheese bread the other day. They were absolutely horrible. I have had many of these from all different places. Mainly in Philly and Jersey, these weren’t even on the same scale. No filling and no dough at all. I hope they aren’t usually like this. I wouldn’t suggest these at all. I’m sorry Serpe and sons, you kind of dropped the ball.

We live in MD and drove an hour to get to Serpe & Sons. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!

We’re originally from NY, and miss the high quality Italian Pastries we got there. I’ve had a craving for authentic, traditional Napoleon, so we thought we’d try Serpe & Sons.

The Napoleon was incredible! Brought us back to our childhood! The cream had the perfect texture and sweetness, with beautifully crafted phyllo dough layers, and the vanilla royal icing with chocolate drizzled on top was phenomenal. My mouth is watering just remembering the taste.

We didn’t stop with just ordering Napoleon! We had a sausage loaf which we loved. Similar to a Stromboli, but the sausage was crumbled, and the cheese was creamy and delicious. I tasted it cold first, and I really liked it! But it’s exponentially better heated. SO good.

We had little bite-size pies/tarts (pictured). DELICIOUS! We tried key lime, apple, and cherry. Each was as good as the next.

We weren’t fans of the mini cannoli,, but to be honest, we didn’t expect to. They’re pre-filled, and the cannot shell gets soft. But the cream was delicious.

The cream puffs were great, as were the cream-filled clams!

We’ll surely be back!!a. You’ve got to try this place!

I’ve always ordered cakes from here and they’ve always come out excellent, which is why I was so disappointed this time. I followed all of the requested instructions. I even emailed a picture of the orange and mint cake ahead of time and asked if this was something they could make, which they agreed they could.

My mom picked up the cake and didn’t check it before leaving, and when we got home, the cake was completely white and the picture was so dark you can barely see it. When we called back, they told us to bring the cake in so they could fix it. However, when we went back, we were told they couldn’t fix it because they didn’t have the orange and mint coloring needed for that design.

Not to mention, we live in New Jersey, so we had to pay a toll to go over twice. The cake cost $70 and it was not what we asked for. I completely understand if the design couldn’t be done, but I would have really appreciated a heads-up. I would’ve gone somewhere else to make sure it turned out right, and now the cake is completely ruined for the event.

First time there and it was pretty busy, but that was expected on a Saturday. I saw some of the other reviews complaining about the service and employee attitudes but we had a good experience. We had to wait a few minutes before being helped but a lady acknowledged us and said she would be with us shortly. We got a bunch of cannolis and a pepperoni roll (forgot to take a picture of the pepperoni roll) and they were all delicious. We will definitely be back!
