Serliana, located on the second floor of the InterContinental, feels like walking into calm. The white and earth tones flow beautifully with the lighting, giving the space a spa-like atmosphere. The retro seating and tall, strategically placed plants create a relaxed yet elevated setting. I was initially nervous about the light-colored cloth chairs showing wear, but they were spotless with no visible stains or damage. The ambiance is truly lovely.

We sat by the window, enjoyed mimosas and hot chocolate, and had a quiet anniversary brunch together. The setting definitely delivered on aesthetics.

I attempted to order a build-your-own omelette but was told, “we don’t do that here,” so I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant with fries instead. My husband ordered the house omelette with toast and chicken sausage. Because of dietary restrictions, I was hoping to order something simple like a customized omelette or shrimp and grits without ham gravy, but flexibility seemed limited.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the ambiance. The chicken salad itself tasted good but was too wet, soaking through the bottom of the croissant and making it mushy. The chicken sausage had a gamey flavor that we didn’t enjoy, the toast was tough, and although my husband requested his omelette be fully cooked, it was still underdone and runny.

Judith, one of our waitresses, was very kind and attentive. She graciously offered drinks on the house to help us celebrate our anniversary, which we truly appreciated. Her thoughtfulness stood out, even if the food didn’t quite wow us.

Overall, the atmosphere and service were highlights, but the food fell short of expectations.

Really enjoyed breakfast here! Cilbir was a unique and flavorful dish. House Omelette was amazing, super creamy (French style). The Omelette with Boursin cheese was great as well. The Açaí Chia Seed Pudding was good, not too sweet. Avocado toast was average and the steak and eggs were overcooked. Overall great atmosphere.

Thrilled Indianapolis has such a lovely afternoon tea option! Serliana hosts tea on Saturdays at 2 pm. We made reservations online (you do pay and include gratuity in advance with this option). The tea and food selections were wonderful. Favorite thing was the chocolate passion fruit mousse. Mackenzie was our server and very knowledgeable and attentive. They do change up the desserts so we are excited to see what they will have next time.

Stopped by after the Yuletide on a Saturday night. The restaurant/bar were approaching last call when we arrived, but were very kind and allowed our party to order and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Cocktails and bread and butter plate were great. I have a theory that any cocktail that includes an egg white is an enjoyable endeavor and this place confirmed that theory. Highly recommend!

I gave this place 3 stars overall, although the food deserves 5. The croquette monsieur sandwich was excellent, very flavorful and well prepared.

Unfortunately, the service was quite weak. We had to wait because we weren’t noticed when we arrived, and the regular coffee was only lukewarm, not hot enough. These details really affected the experience.

With better attention to service, this could be a great spot.

The savory food, the excellent service, the beautiful atmosphere. Serliana is more than just a meal; it’s a complete dining experience that transports you the moment you walk through the door.
The atmosphere is one of refined elegance, featuring soft lighting and classical architectural touches that truly make the setting beautiful. It manages to feel both sophisticated and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion or an intimate dinner.

Had such a great time here this Saturday with friends! The food was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly, the burger and fries were on point, and the mocktails were to die for. Everything tasted so good!
Yolanda was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend!

Dined here yesterday before the Colts game and had a great experience. The service and food were both excellent. I ordered the beef tartare, which was a good portion and seasoned really well. My dad got the pasta and added blackened salmon — the sauce-to-noodle ratio was perfect and not overly heavy. Our server was attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The atmosphere was beautiful too, modern but still relaxed. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

We came here for convince (as we stayed at the hotel) and it surprisingly exceeded our expectations—everything was so good!

Food was simple, yet elevated in preparation and quality.

Staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

I recommend this place whether you are staying at the hotel or not!

Came for late lunch / early dinner after checking in and ordered:
– Bacon Wrapped Dates
– Lobster Roll
– Truffle Fries
– Crispy Tuna Rice

It was so good that we went back for breakfast and got:
– Biscuit Sandwich (found it weird that it had strawberries in it, but easily become one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had.
– French toast
– Chicken Sausage
– Espresso

I cannot review food or atmosphere because I actually haven’t had a chance to come in and try. I booked a high tea for me and my family, for double the occasion, My birthday and Valentines. When I booked it back in January, I had called in to specify details of my meal requirements. They were very attentive to all the information and made sure to tell me that they cannot do substitutions, but, they will try to accommodate me as best as they can. Which is great. I called in one day before my reservation, which was yesterday. They confirmed the details of my reservation for high tea, including the fact that no one bothered noting down my meal requirements. Which I gave them again yesterday. Today I get a call, the date of my reservation, telling me that they do not have high tea on a Friday. This is the day of my reservation. They did not bother giving me any information prior to this one. I called them several times. This is a very poor taste. This is not a cheap establishment. It is not a hole in the wall sandwich shop. I even called them back in January to get help for my high tea reservation. They told me that it can only be done through OpenTable. Which is exactly what I did. During that phone call they did not specify that the high tea is only for Saturday and Sunday. How am I getting a call several hours before I’m supposed to come in for high tea to tell me that they cannot accommodate me? The person who called me offered to change my reservation to a regular one. I refused assistance with that because this is in such poor taste, that I do not feel like giving them my business anymore. And mind you, it was a five member reservation.
