Good stuff here. I’d been to both of their Durango locations, and knew what to expect. If you’re looking for good barbecue, this is the place. They handled a bus with a team without issue.

Was driving through on Monday, stopped for 6pm dinner. Got brisket, ribs and beans. Ribs were good for buck a rib. Beans were super meaty.
Brisket had nice ring but was served cool and was incredibly dry. Sauce is very thin, like flavored vinegar. Only one sauce that I could find, no spice.
I’ve tried this place a couple times now, both times just average. I’ve lived in Texas where brisket is king, this BBQ is not serious.

Rudy’s is now second best! Serious Texas BBQ was excellent!!! Pulled pork, perfect tenderness and the sausage amazing! From the way it “snaps” all the flavors, as you take a bite, to cutting it correctly for serving. The staff were excellent as well. My stop from now on!!!

Delicious food. I had some Texas style sausage and a half rack of ribs. The ribs are dry, but you can add the pepper BBQ sauce (spicy), or regular BBQ sauce. I enjoyed both sauces equally well. Very good barbecue, overall.

Seriously the WORST Brisket and Pork ribs I have ever had. Almost broke my plastic knife trying to cut it. Ribs were not even close to being able to pull off the bone! if I where a Texan I would be pissed that the even call this Texas BBQ!

I live in Texas and love eating here whenever passing through. Great food. The Beans were amazing, cheesy potatoes were great and the pulled pork was very tender and delicious. This really is some Serious Texas Bar-B-Q!

They are definitely not serious about they’re bbq. Nothing is served hot. The meat is dry and the sauce is flavorless. Add in the slow service and you get a seriously bland experience. Out of ribs. Out of desserts. How do they stay open?
