I visited this place and it’s run by Sergio and his family. Sergio is such a kind and welcoming person—he personally gave us a full tour of the shop and took the time to explain the different types of beers he carries from around the world. What really stood out was his enthusiasm, energy, and great sense of humor. His passion is truly inspiring, especially seeing how hands-on he is with everything. If you’re visiting the area, I would absolutely recommend stopping by. True to its name, it really feels like a world of beer with an amazing selection from all over the globe. Just make sure to bring cash and enjoy a fantastic experience!

What an experience! The owner greeted us as we walked in and gave us a tour! Beers from all over the world. Lots of novel items related to beers and merch to purchase. The selections were vast and all that we I’m ined were outstanding. We stayed for quite a while. The owner cooked us up some cheeseburgers which were good for the money and helped soke up the drafts. The place was walkable from our house rental and tucked-in as if it were a hidden speak easy. Good times and memories with our friends and we will never forget Sergio and his world of beers.

Definitely one of the must visit places in Louisville! A great selection of beers from all over the world.
I personally recommend the Jamaican ginger beer (a hidden gem in an old white ref).
The caribbean chocolate beer was nice too.

The owner himself is the person who typically aids you in your experience when you first get here. I’ve been coming here for years and years, and this is hands-down one of the most interesting places to drink in Louisville. I’ve celebrated quite a few birthdays here. That’s how much I love it.

This place is such a gem. The beer selection is insane and immersive. The owner, his staff and the regulars treat everyone like a friend. It’s not often you find a place like this. And if you get to meet the owner, Sergio, slow down and have a conversation with this dude and let him show you around if he’s not too busy. He’s one of a kind just like the place.

An absolute Mecha for old school beer nerds and fans of Belgian beers. Some of the most hard to find beer from Belgium and the rest of Europe is available here as well as craft beer from the US including aged stuff. Every beer is served in proper glassware. The owner is literally the most well connected guy I’ve ever met. Go here and just listen to his stories about Belgian beer. An absolute bucket list for anyone who loves Cantillon, Fantome or any other classic Belgian breweries.

Had the Van Steenbridge Golden Drak Smoked, Bosteels Amber, and Schneider Adventinus. all three came in the proper glass less than 10 seconds.
no pets allowed and no samples. All things considered still the best bar ever.

Absolutely outstanding find! Behind an unassuming store front that you question if it’s the right place is a Truly UNIQUE one of a kind place with more beers then you could even have time to go through! Do yourself a favor and go experience history as well as flavors for any and every pallet. From the endless floor to ceiling decor and finds in each nook and cranny, the only way you’d be disappointed is if you are stuck in a pretentious mindset.
