The staff is very friendly. The restuarant and tables are always clean. My family and I have been to sergio’s so many times it is our go to place whenever we want to go out to eat. They sit us at a table quickly. We’ve never had long waits to get our food. Drinks always kept full. I absolutely love this place. My children love it. It’s very family friendly. My kids recently said they want to go to sergio’s, so guess where we are going once we are able to? Yup Sergio’s 🙂

I don’t normally review restaurants as I think reviewing is for people with an ax to grind. I’m only doing this so others don’t make the same mistake we did. First walked in and there was a mop and broom leaning against a table across from ours (not late in the evening). We had a nice server, but he didn’t comprehend English very well at all. Tried to get a top shelf margarita and had to go through two servers with the response being “don’t you want our special pitcher?”. I could see tequila and grand marnier on their bar. Instead, we had VERY weak, avg drinks. Wife purchased a shot of tequila to help hers, but to no avail. I didn’t see anything I liked, so ordered three plain cheese enchiladas with enchilada sauce (sauce was listed on menu). Server couldn’t understand enchilada sauce. Kept trying to give me salsa. Finally got our meals. Enchiladas were luke warm and sauce definitely came from a can. No flavor. Wife had carne “azada”… I guess an attempt at carne asada. Simply ultra thin slices of beef cook on a flat top. NO flavor or spices. Grilled green onions that still had outer tough layer on them so you couldn’t actually eat just a bite. Also ordered cheese dip which is apparently just “easy melt” white cheese they added a small amount of jalapenos. Again, NO flavor. This is not true Mexican food. Sikeston deserves better.

Greeted with a friendly hello, ordered the seafood Molcajete, overwhelmed by the size of the bowl. Filled with tilapia, scallops, and good sized shrimp,all on a bed of broccoli and cauliflower,then cheese sauce over it. Very satisfying!!

Im very disappointed in this restaurant. Because im handicap, i ordered over the phone and drove from out of town for the drive-thru. Its close to Christmas so money is tight but i wanted to treat my son for dinner. The order was wrong, cold, and over priced. I will never go back there again and will encourage others not to also.

Margaritas are mucho delicioso, not made from some cheap syrup. Did not have any seats, so cant rate that part of this place.
