This restaurant is not very appealing from outside, but inside is fantastic! It’s quite big, have several half-separated rooms. The decor, tables, chairs are done in a Mexican style, including pictures from Aztec times, with bright colors, looks amazing. The prices are moderate. The food was delicious. They have a lunch buffet for something like 12 dollars, but we never went for it. It’s definitely a place to come back.

I went in there I spent $40 on three meals took it to go. The menu says the chimichanga is deep fried. Well it was not deep-fried. It was just Regular tortilla with meat in it and cheese on top! I’ve never in my life, gone to a Mexican restaurant and not received salsa with my order until now!!! What Kind of Mexican restaurant doesn’t give you salsa? not only that, but the only thing that was hot was the chimichanga because I had to reheat it in my air fryer because it wasn’t deep-fried and it was so soggy! It has a good flavor, but I’m disappointed in spending $40 and not getting what the menu described as a deep-fried chimichanga and no salsa!!!

Not a bad little spot in Carbondale. Ate here twice including once where I drank…. they dont know much about alcohol unless its a margarita, but that’s alright. Food is good and they kept my drinks topped.

I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. I didn’t know to ask for no cheese sauce. It sounded good on the menu, but I would not recommend it. It killed the meal for me, though I did enjoy the rice. My husband ordered the fish tacos and was not happy. Our margaritas were also very watered down… The staff was friendly so that made up for a bit.

This place is fantastic. Exceptional service! Truly top notch. They always make you feel special there! Very attentive. Great guacamole. The molcajete is excellent. Lots of food for the money. Love the margaritas. The carved and painted motifs on the booths add a lot of life and charm. Fernando always makes you feel welcome!

Sergio’s was fantastic, we were seated in a beautiful booth, the atmosphere was great and so was the food.
I myself never take food pictures, but the evening we went I did and it was delicious. Waitress, host, everyone there made our dining experience wonderful. Authentic Mexican food at a fair price.
