After my massage appt on 12/6/25 at Elements Massage. I decided to walk across to this Thai restaurant to have brunch here before I went shopping at Traders Joe’s in the same market area.

Upon entry, there was a gentleman that greeted hello from a distance and saw me taking pictures of the place. I did respond that I was taking quick pictures and he responded with ok. I was done within a minute. He seemed to have disappeared and didn’t return at all. This I found to be strange. It was almost five minutes. I flagged another female employee and whilst she was approaching me. The initial gentleman appeared and asked if I wanted to be seated in the bar or the dining area opposite the bar. I advised that dining in the bar section was sufficient. I sat at one of the dining tables. The previous restaurant was Shari’s. They did an excellent job in renovating. The decor is appealing and cozy. The left section of the restaurant is the bar side with a few dining tables. The right section is the main dining area.

I was greeted by a female bartender-Lyndsey. She was nice, welcoming and great. I ordered the Crispy Chicken garlic $22.95. This was delicious! I also ordered a fresh roll for $10 happy hour price. It was delicious Honestly, it’s pricey for a single roll. For my beverage, I had a hot Jasmine tea as I was slightly cold. I wanted to order Thai tea initially. I’ll have to come back and try it. I attempted to order the mango sticky rice, however, was advised it was not in season and could not be served. I’ll be back to try other food items on the menu.

Very nice place, decor is beautiful and sets the tone for a nice experience. We had a reservation for 7 people when we walked in and they were very ready and eager to serve us.
The food was great, all people in our party were happy with what they ordered. The appetizers came out so quickly too!
We got crab fried rice, crispy chicken, pad Thai, and pad woon sen. All very tasty!
Our waitress and waiter were great, brining out everything in a timely manner. We celebrated a birthday and they offered to keep the dessert we brought in the fridge until we were ready to have it. They were very hospitable and attentive.
We will definitely back returning to try more things on the menu and feel like we have found our new go to Thai restaurant.

I’ve eagerly awaited the opening of Se-Ree Thai restaurant. We stopped by last night to check it out, and I was beyond impressed. They took over the old Shari’s, and the transformation inside is nothing short of spectacular. The atmosphere is now elegant. We sat at the bar. I ordered an Old Fashioned and my boyfriend had a glass of Cabernet. Both were excellent. Since it was happy hour, we decided to order three appetizers for $10 each: pot stickers, chicken wings and spring rolls. The chicken wings were perfectly breaded, juicy inside with a delightfully crispy crunch on the outside.

We ordered the red curry crispy duck and an order of Shrimp Pad Thai. It was quick and delicious. I also tried the Thai iced tea with coconut milk. It was good but a little too sweet for my taste. Pad Thai was seasoned perfectly and not too sweet like some and we did a 3 on spice and it was perfectly done-not too hot and not too mild!

Not respecting hapy hour pricing:

As you can see on the pictures I’m attaching, the 2 drinks I ordered during happy hour time were supposed to have their price reduced (we were in the lounge area between 5pm and 6pm), but we got charged full price. The reason why I didn’t catch it right away is because when we were done eating nobody brought us the check for 40 min, so I went to the front desk to pay it, but they only told me how much I owed without a check, and I only got to see the bill afterward. I realized the mistake while walking to my car, went back inside right away and asked to be refunded the difference, the waiter asked me to fill out a paper with my receipt number and phone number so that he could “process a refund when it’s less busy”, but he never did. What was also irritating is that he was not believing me that both drinks had happy hour price, despite it being on their menu…

Either way, it’s been 2 weeks now and still no refund, hence the bad rating.

Apart from that the food was fantastic, but the drinks were nothing special. Sitting in the lounge area (but not at the bar) got us to be forgotten by the waiters, they were never stopping by to give us water or ask if we wanted anything else.

I’ll happily update my review if I get the refund. I know it’s only $5 (well technically $6 with tips) but that’s just not right.

We loved this place. Located in the old Shari’s restaurant, clean and bright.
Hostess greeted us immediately and brought us water. Server was quite attentive. The food was fantastic. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Huge Menu. We wish them success and will return!

Oh my god. Oh my god. This is the best food I’ve had in auburn! So unassuming from the outside but as soon as you walk in, you will notice how professional and beautiful the atmosphere is. Our wonderful server, Gigi, met us with a grand smile and was such a joy throughout our entire experience. We had the crab Rangoon, ocean curry. For drinks we had the espresso martini, Bangkok smoke, velvet. Everything was amazing. Listen I just got back from a month long trip around Europe trying high end restaurants and cocktails that were 30 euros and this place COMPETES! SO GOOD! Get over here and say hey to Gigi and have a good time.

Excellent Food, but the Service is Appalling and Arrogant.
My visit to Thai Ginger left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, the food was absolutely outstanding. The dishes we ordered were delicious, fresh, and authentically Thai. The quality of the kitchen alone is the main reason to consider returning and definitely deserves a high rating.
However, the service we received was extremely disappointing, completely overshadowing the dining experience. Specifically, the staff dressed in red shirts displayed unacceptable behavior.
They acted rude, abrupt, and, above all, arrogant. They seemed bothered by having to serve us; they placed the plates on the table discourteously, almost “throwing” them down, and their attitude was hostile towards customers. The lack of professionalism and the prepotency (arrogance/haughtiness) of this specific staff are unacceptable for an establishment that offers such high-quality food.
In summary:
• Food: Outstanding.
• Service (Staff in Red): Appalling, discourteous, and arrogant.
I sincerely hope management takes serious action regarding the attitude of their service staff. If you value good food but also expect kind treatment, consider ordering takeout; otherwise, be prepared for a very unpleasant dining experience.

It was just okay for us. We opted for bar seating. The restaurant itself is huge! The decor was nice as well as the ambiance. Our server was very friendly. The tofu had no taste at all, the fried chicken wings were okay. We were disappointed with the sauce. It seemed like it was bottle sweet chili sauce. It didn’t pair well with the tofu or chicken. The drunken noodle was just okay. Our Mai Tai did not taste like Mai Tai. To be fair, we had just gotten back from Hawaii and it’s hard not to compare. We would go back at a later time and give it another try. As the restaurant has a lot of potential.
