Lovely Italian place in the comolex around Cromwell hosting most of the eateries around town. It is set a little bit further from the other places, has lovely Italian music and a small but choice menu. One page A4 of pizzas and the rest on the flipside. The wine list was also small, but choice, with some Italian and a few NZ wines. The prices were average, not prohibitive, the pizzas were also quite decent. The service was friendly but there were only 2 people there. Don’t know what happens when it gets busy in there…

Really good food made with good quality ingredients. My family and I returned twice. On this evening I delighted myself with the ✨lamb ragu ✨ and the ✨panna cotta✨. The half-eaten depictions are attached. Also, the random pop songs translated to Italian were fun the first night but not so much the second one… maybe add a few more? The track looped. A hidden gem. It’s definitely a good place to go for Italian cuisine. We, two people finished all the dishes. Good portion, authentic taste. Atmosphere is very chill and cozy. Staff is attentive with fast service. Would bring my family back whenever they’re in Cromwell.

Serving up authentic Italian dishes from Pizzas to Pasta, this place is a must when you’re staying or passing through.
Excellent selection of local wines and abroad, with a warm and quite atmosphere. Choose to sit inside with an intimate atmosphere or outside to enjoy a summers evening.
Service was impeccable, will definitely return when I’m back in the region.

A quaint shop with a very cozy atmosphere. We had the pesto fusilli and mushroom risotto. The sauces are flavourful and the pasta is perfectly chewy. The pesto sauce had us mopping the plates! Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

A slice of Italy in Cromwell. Driving back to Queenstown after finishing the Alps To Ocean we decided to grab some Italian and found Sera Amano on Google Maps. Reviews looked good and can confirm they were right. Food was absolutely top notch – the garlic pizza was perfect and the 4 different pastas yummy and big. Finished with delicious Tiramisu and Pannacota desserts.
They have an excellent drinks menu with good by the glass wine options . The wait team were friendly and professional.

Was very surprised that cromwel could have such good Italian. Had the beef caspacio and the seafood linguine both were freshly made and an absolute delight

We had pizza delivered. The base bread was lovely but that’s it. Sauce all dried up & 1 piece of topping per slice. If I’d been served this in a restaurant it would definitely be returned, we didn’t pay to expect an empty pizza.
