Chanel’s Corner
This place was nicely reconstructed and gives a very fun and modern vibe, which interested me in coming in the first place. Made reservations and we were greeted upon entry and walked to our table. Our waiter was extremely nice as we ordered our drinks and food which came within 10 minutes. I got what the server recommended being the beef brisket tacos, with the SER dip and my mom got quesadillas. Also gave them the freedom to create whatever mocktail they wanted for me. The food overall was very bland, the dip I didn’t like much so we didn’t eat it, the salsa and chips was different, but most enjoyable which came free with the meal, my tacos didn’t taste like anything so I used a purple sauce which exploded on me and my New Year’s dress. It was calmly chaotic, and everyone felt bad and I was just shocked because it erupted the moment I twisted the cap off. Everyone was very nice and diligent to make sure that the mess was cleaned up, as well as making sure we were compensated for, which I was extremely happy with. However, the table next to us said this happens ALL THE TIME which made me realize adjusting to disasters that can inconveniently ruin a customers outfit such as that was not a priority to them. Luckily I was able to scrub the purple sauce off from all down my side and shoes with soap and water in the bathroom. Despite the sauce eruption, they handled it well and I appreciate them for handling our circumstance properly. I would only go back for the ambience and the people, because the food, just was not good.

4/5 Stars –
The food here is standout. The handmade tortillas are fantastic, and the tacos with blackberry crema are a must-try—truly unique and delicious. I also loved the smoky table salsa, the poblano in mole, and the cheesy rice cakes (arroz con pollo).
The only downside is the pricing. While the Taco Tuesday deals ($3-6) are a total win, the regular menu can get pricey. I had a delicious tostada that ended up being $27 after adding braised beef ($19+$8) which felt steep for a single item with no sides.

Pro Tip: Stick to the house margarita ($15ish) and visit on Tuesday for the best value. Great spot for high-quality Mexican food! The bartender Katie was awesome and super friendly!

I had the chance to eat at ser. not once but twice and it’s been amazing! I told myself and friends that I definitely need to write a review and let people know how good this place is.

The first time I went I met up with long time friends and we sat outside by the water-fire sculpture(it’s a really cool thing to look at especially when it’s super cold outside and the water freezes but the fire is still going) atmosphere was great, the service was so attentive. Food was spectacular. I had the shrimp diablo. Every flavor just melted in my mouth. the owner Wayne was also walking around greeting tables and asking how everything was. He even came to our table asked us how are food was and service. Our feedback was very important to him. That’s always a plus with me when the owner walks out and goes around talking to guest. After dinner we went inside and sat by the fire place and had another cocktail, cocktails are amazing as well, had the mezcal me later. yummmy! Me and one of my besties had the scorpion tequila shot! It was such a cool experience, crunch crunch (must try at least once.)

Second time I went me and my bestie long time friend sat at the bar and once again the atmosphere was amazing, food was on point as always! i had the chipotle braised beef tacos it was so good, especially with the honey cumin slaw and the blackberry crème. Blew my mind, bartender was attentive and we even had the pleasure to talk to the owner Wayne again! Such a cool down to earth guy. He talked to us about the building and the past history about it.
I live in Tulsa and come see my friends quite often and every time we meet up for dinner my first answer now is ser.

This place may be new, but if you haven’t tried it— run to ser! I will usually order lengua if it’s on a menu and these did not disappoint! The meat was so freaking tender, I couldn’t believe it! I was also surprised by how much of a spicy kick there was to them! My partner tried their Campo Poblano tacos and he was raving about them the whole night! Genuinely their meat is so well cooked and well seasoned, I’m still dreaming about them! We didn’t know, but I would HIGHLY recommend reserving a table and not trying to walk-in if you are bigger than a party of two. We were lucky we found spots at the bar immediately, but this place was PACKED on a Friday night! They have an adorable patio space that I bet will be so amazing to sit during the warmer months! All the staff we spoke to were so kind and fun despite how busy they all were! We’re already planning our next visit to try their fajitas!

They opened 2 weeks ago, and I’m beyond impressed!! Service was amazing and food was very very good. We’ll be back!

The home made salsa that comes out with the chips is really flavorful! Unlike most free salsa haha.

Ate here for lunch. It was just ok for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas. They were average, the onions on the inside were not cooked. The beef nachos had a steak meat on them that was a little off for nachos. We sat outside and the table/chairs was in gravel. Felt like the chairs were digging into the ground and “lop sided”. Sitting outside on 23rd can be an at your own risk event due to some of the individuals who walk up and down the street. We encountered 2 different individuals who were yelling and acting erratic. I would give it another chance, but wasn’t blown away. One of my coworkers ask specific questions about dietary restrictions and then meal came out with dairy still. They did remake it and give her a bag of chips, so that was nice.

Everything starts with the salsa, and I always say—if the salsa is good, it sets the tone for the entire meal. SER nailed it. The salsa and chips were on point right from the start.
The ceviche was a standout—fresh, vibrant, and that juice? One of my favorites. You’ll want to savor every bite.
The mezcal cocktails had us saying “let’s get another round.” That pink rose petal drink was as beautiful as it was delicious.
The enchiladas were incredible—homemade tortillas with perfectly seasoned, tender meat. You can taste the care that goes into the food here.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Just had Sunday brunch here with 20 people. They were able to pay attention and deliver drink Services fairly quickly. Food Service still runs a little bit slowly but they did everything they could to accommodate and make sure appetizers were sent out first as well as keeping chips and salsa fully stocked. Once food was out, everybody was satisfied! Mimosas were flowing and tasted well. Wayne and Brent added a very personal touch to our experience and they did an excellent job.
